Breakfast choices and how it was organised. The swimming pool was a great bonus at the end of a long journey. Location was excellent, walking distance to the main centre of Torquay but far enough away to be quiet.
Swimming pool and the changing rooms need a refurb. Shower was difficult to regulate the temperature and it changed dangerously from cold to too hot. Not enough surfaces space in the bathroom to lay out my toiletries.

It’s more a pub with rooms than a hotel with a bar.
Beds not comfortable and some rooms on the roadside are very noisy
