We verbleven in de suite, die was heel compleet, met koffie en water op de kamer, en een föhn in de badkamer. Super knus ingericht en een goed bed. Parkeren onder het hotel, locatie ook echt top.
Ontbijt kon wat uitgebreider.

I'm not really one to make bad reviews but it is necessary to comment on the nightmare caused by the reception of the Real Salento Hotel, I come for a walk through Pereira and Salento and as a foreigner I am exempt from paying IVA (tax) the reservation made on booking.com includes Therefore, the hotel is supposed to NOT charge IVA at the time of check-in. Not even showing them the passport with the Colombian Immigration entry stamp was enough for the hotel representative to exclude me from IVA. and they charged me without hesitation, I have considered myself in two other hotels and they did not charge me the IVA turning to the issue of toilets, which are the towels and the bed linen are so used that instead of being white they already look yellow from so much use, they have no control over the children who play throughout the hotel without respecting that there are people sleeping even at 7am in short it is a nightmare to go through the Salento real hotel Eje cafetero.

It was little hot in the rooms and no ac. Apparently there are fans but you had to ask. I wish this would have been shared with us at check in.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were spacious and had a roomy bathroom. The hotel had a colonial style and authentic decor. Breakfast was phenomenal and the terrace provided a nice view.
We had a dehumidifier in our room but it was removed by the cleaning service. The dehumidifier was nice to keep in the room because it helped remove the humidity due to rain.

The bath and the view in the suite are outstanding. I loved the cozy bed. Such a great experience from the early check-in, breakfast, the kind staff always so helpful. The view from the restaurant is beautiful.

The manager was very helpful in sorting out some issues with had with our room. The suite is excellent unfortunately that was only available for one night during our stay.

It was a close walk to the city center with all of the restaurants and coffee shops.
The wifi kept cutting in and out. It felt dirty. The beds didn’t feel clean, and the bathroom had bugs in it because they left the window wide open. There were no outlets next to my bed so I had to plug my phone in clear across the room. Staff were not super friendly and laughed at me when I asked them why my luggage was missing from their closet.

the towels that we received had brown stains on them and even when we received new towels we had the same issue.

Nice building in a quiet area. The staff was friendly and the bed in the room was very big, which was nice. Also the breakfast was good and the wifi worked well.
We stayed in the comfort room and were a bit disappointed as we thought the room would be a bit more spacious and luxurious as is to see in many photos of this place online. Unfortunately the room didn't have a real window, only a stained glass window to the patio. This makes it very dark in the room (no natural light), and not private if you want to open the window. Also this room was very humid, because damp air from the shower couldn't get away easily.
Overall I would say, this is not a bad hotel, but the comfort rooms are disappointing and definitely not worth the value in my opinion.
