Great location, within a less-than-10 minutes walking distance of bus/train station, harbor, what-passes-as-a-downtown-Kiel-mall, on a very lovely, well-lit, very-good-for-a-walk waterfront, with inside parking.
The double room was bigger than I expected. There was plenty of room around the (big) bed to not feel crowded (something that you often do feel in a B&B).
The staff were lovely and helpful. We did not have breakfast, so I cannot comment on it.
The water might take a few seconds too long to heat up, but that's to be expected in a B&B. I can't remember anything bad, really. It wasn't a long stay, but I was left with the feeling of "a good place to rest in future travels".

Top sauber, Parkhaus direkt nebenan, an Ausstattung alles da, was nötig war, bequemes Bett, klimatisiert, zu Bahn und Straße praktisch schalldicht, ausreichend Platz.
Frühstücksbuffet angemessen und ausreichend, "spektakulär" ist das falsche Wort.

Einfacher Check In, Parkplatz mit 10€/Nacht günstig, nettes Personal an der Rezeption.
Hotel ist sehr modern. Zimmer ebenfalls modern mit Klima mit der man auch heizen kann.
Vom Hotel sind Ostseekai, Innenstadt, Ostseehalle innerhalb rund 10 - 15 Gehminuten erreichbar.
Frühstück war einfach (3 Sorten Aufschnitt, 3 Sorten Käse, 3 Sorten Marmelade, Nuss Nougat Creme, Honig, hart gekochte Eier)
Dafür aber frische Brötchen einer lokalen Bäckerei, auch am Feiertag. Dort keine Aufbackware vorfinden zu müssen, hat positiv überrascht. Dazu frische Croissants, frisches Obst, Kornflakes, Müsli, mehrere Vegane Aufstriche. Die Kaffeemaschine bot mehrere Varianten an, Cappuccino und Kaffee waren lecker.
Für den Preis und Hotelkategorie ein überraschend gutes Frühstück, das habe ich in höher Preisigen Hotels schon schlechter erlebt. Auch wurde alles schnell nachgefüllt, wenn was leer war. Das Frühstück ist empfehlenswert.
Aufgrund der Lage zwischen Hauptbahnhof und einer stark befahrenen Straße, Kuss das Fenster nachts geschlossen bleiben. Die Fenster sind aber Schallgeschützt, wir haben von Straßenlärm nichts mehr gehört. Durch die Klimaanlage muss man aber nicht frieren oder schwitzen.
Im Badezimmer fehlte bei der Duschtür die untere Schwallleiste, so dass man leicht den Fußboden unter Wasser setzen konnte.

The location is excellent and very convenient, and overall the hotel offers good value for the price. Breakfast was okay — simple but sufficient.
I respect the hotel’s eco-friendly policies and agree that daily room cleaning isn’t necessary. However, the towel policy doesn’t make sense. For a 3-person room staying two nights, we were given only two sets of one big towels and one small towel total, meaning three people had to share towels. This falls below a reasonable hygiene standard and doesn’t seem meaningfully related to sustainability.
Eco-friendly practices should balance environmental responsibility with basic guest comfort, and here that balance was missed.
