Disappointing

The location

It was lovely, just would have liked some tea bags and a bit cleaner in the bathroom area.

The room was great, nicely presented, and clean. The staff were very professional and friendly.

On the second day, there weren't any face washers or soap left in the bathroom, hence, used a hand towel. The shower also wasn't properly cleaned out. Also, one of the teaspoons that was used by me the day prior, was still dirty and left on my vanity. It looked like it had been washed in there, but still dirty. Also, the tea bags weren't replenished.

Overall it is a very good location to stay. Most of the places I visited are close lie the St. Cath

I like it because of the proximity to Darling Harbor

Prices of the food at the restaurant is too expensive. For example a small bowl of salad costs 12 AUD

The stay was excellent but we book a ride to airport but it never came and we had to Uber. Not sure of company they boo

Very close and convenient to so much.

Property itself was great. Service for booking rides to airport for late night was an issue. Service never came.

But, I looked at the grouting in the shower and it needs either a good clean or regrout around the bottom.

Hyatt is a group I have used in the past and didn’t disappoint! Location of this hotel was excellent with easy access to Darling Harbour

Not what We experience as 5 star certainly 4 star more appropriate

It was ok with a handy location central city

No night light in room, no heated towel rail, mirror continually fogged up not heated. No pullout clothesline, only would leave two teabags per day and a few milk.

Convenient location with access to restaurants and rooftop bar.

Close to Darling Harbour. Beautiful appearance very professional and elegant. Rooms clean and comfortable.

Knowing that we are a family of 3 there were no extra bedding for my son on the single so we all had to share a bed. No rubbish bags in the trash cans. Only 2 towels provided. No instructions on how to work the lighting or air conditioning. Issues with payment due to type of booking. Check in is too late in the afternoon. No active fan in bathroom when showering.

Location Friendly and helpful reception and concierge staff Housekeeping kept up well stocked with towels.

No bathtub in room Chair in room has hair all over from previous guest it when so I cleaned it with a wet wipe. Carpet needed vacuuming. Evening meals not available on the nights we stayed (only serve dinner on certain nights /weekends) so

Always stay here when visiting Sydney and is always first rate. Was a little off this visit.

Location and staff as usual were excellent

Room entry door (528) wouldn’t close without pushing/pulling, came back to room not locked. Bathroom sliding door jamming. Bed very poorly made on first night, much better after that.

We love coming to stay at the Hyatt every year to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary.

Disappointing as I’ve been there before and use Hyatt a lot

The lobby, restaurant and staff

Being put right near the lift. People stood outside my room saying good night to their friends talking really loud constantly. You could also hear the pings from the lift which kept me awake and the noise the ice machine made. Very loud! Tv didn’t work, reported it and they restarted but still didn’t work. Cleaning wasn’t great, stains on table and toilet roll in the drain on the floor in the bathroom.

Staff burgled my room.

My room was burgled by staff, and when I reported it to the manager on duty he literally tried to convince me I never had a bag. 1 month later and I am dealing with identity fraud.

the room was tiny. we upgraded to a harbour view but the room was still very small. We paid premium price and got nice but not amazing. Photos online make it seem like rooms are bigger than they are.

Worst communication

CONTACTED THE PROPERTY IN THE TIME PERIOD OF FREE CANCELATION OR TO MANAGE BOOKING TO REQUEST IT TO BE REBOOKED AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REPLY! $650 down the drain- pathetic

Overall a wonderful experience

Easy check in, many food options, great location in the heart of Sydney

It was a very busy weekend. The buffet breakfast was far too pranked with people queuing up and our coffee orders never arrived

Lovely, clean, staff very helpful, close to everything

Great buffet breakfast. Very close to Darling Harbour and a short walk to mid city centre. Convenient to other hotels and eateries. Staff very pleasant, our room was upgraded on request and staff lovely and polite.

The king room initially booked as having water views had a view of a roofline which was disappointing. A quick request to reception and they graciously moved us up a few floors which we really appreciated.
