The rooms, beds and bathroom were clean and comfy. The room had a good view of the city. The staff were all friendly and went out of their way to help if needed. The location was super convenient right by the train station, which was great for getting around. Overall, great value for the price.

Really bad sound barrier of window. It's close to the train station, but to be fair we are not bothered by noise from trains, instead the vehicles from the street, I never see such horrible quaility window in any German building. Bed and pillow are unfortunately not comfortable. And please really think about to reduce the amount of spam messages, I received 8 emails telling me I can download your App and have do quick check in, PLEASE be aware that this is really annoying!

Good bathroom. Close to the train station.

Late check in. Not so loud like others write. Boxes with tissues in toilet. My bed was comfortable.

Poorly marked parking entrance... which didn't matter anyway as it was crowded anyway (short walk to APAG Parkhaus Hauptbahnhof car park, recommended, €12 per day, so for that price we explored the city leaving the car after checking out).

The rooms were too small and the hostel is very expensive.

Close to the railway station (Aachen Hbf). Very good breakfast. Buffe'. Large selection. Reception open 24h !?!

No light at beds. There was one weak lamp in the room except the lamp in the ceiling. Not electric socket close to all beds. Not much to hang clothes on. Only one of three hooks was undamaged and useful. No box for luggage in the room. There are a few lockable boxes at the reception for smaller bags. Costs 2 EUR. No guest kitchen. It was closed because of fire regulations. However, the personell stored a small package of food for me in their fridge.

Location is very good, just 2 mins away from the station by walk.

At first I was allocated to a 4-bed mixed dorm but after I came back from dinner, there was a guy sleeping on my bed and all the other 3 beds were all taken by guys. Luckily the receptionist reallocated me to another female dorm. But my first experience in the mixed dorm was a mess.

I liked so much Great accomodation. Great lounge music in the reception. Very very clean.

It’s right next to train station so ideal for those with backpacks and not travelling to far on foot. City centre is about 10 min walk which works fine

The bunk bed mattress I had was sinking in middle due to wear and tear over the years.

For breakfast there are some coins. We prepaid but didn't get it and we didn't know. The person who requested it should have checked with our room no and not make us go down to get some coins. That's not a hotel professional

Beds are not comfortable. Room was not very clean. Bathroom in the first floor was really really dirty. Showers are inside the room, which is not nice IMO for a hostel, since if you wanna take a shower after arriving late to the room, you wake up everyone. Same experience as the A&O from Dresde. Looks like its not the hostel chain for me.

The hotel is near the central train station in Aachen.

1- Beds are uncomfortable. 2- Room size is extremely small for a double room! There are other hotels in the area that provide larger rooms at even better prices. 3- Noise: you can hear the voices of your neighbors, which could be screaming and very noisy, even at night; you can also hear the sound of the trains and the anouncement coming from the central train station; at the morning, the sound of the vacuum cleaner is very annoying! 4- Some of the reception staff are nice; others might be a bit grumpy! So, plus or minus in here. 5- The room service (maid) was once rude to me; so, I decided not to rely anymore on her services. 6- Quality versus price definitely not the best, and there are cheaper budget hotels in the area. I stayed there for 10 days, and it wasn't the most confortable stay! I can say that, because I tried other budget hotels, and they were better!

In the first room the mattresses were all taken from the beds and put in the floor by some other guests. Luckly we were able to change the room. I personally did not like that there were no plugs near the bed.

THIS HOSTEL CHARGES 4 € FOR BEDSHEETS. I'm sorry but this is not a standard. When I search for hostels in the app, I search for price and location. I do not have time to read all the terms and conditions to get a place for just one night. So this policy makes seem the a&o hostel 4 euros cheaper than other places than it actually is and creates a more complex task for me to choose a right place. If you want to save energy and water, you can offer people a 4 € discount from the advertised price. It's nice to have a personal lamp on the bed but since it is used before sleeping, IT SHOULD HAVE WARM LIGHT, NOT WHITE! NO LOCKERS IN THE ROOM, no free automatic lockers anywhere else. They send TOO MANY MESSAGES for a simple one-night stay. Keep it simple! I want to travel and meet people, not read long e-mails all the time. Their leaflets say they use "100% green electricity". The building does not look so special so this is simple GREENWASHING. As long as they are located in Germany which burns coal to make electricity, such a building definitely does not use only green energy, whatever it is.

Good room with comfortable space and the location was perfect. very near to Hauptbahnhof.

The hotel was very good. We asked for the breakfast earlier and they said they can provide. But after they denied to provide the breakfast and 10 EUR per day was for no use.

I really liked clean rooms and lobby. Personell were so helpfull. Good location in safe pleace.

Only thing that I don't like was small and expensive parking. I must to say about nigtclub under the hotel. It's not a problem for me but somebody could hate it.
