Spacious apartment with host who was generous in providing food and other provisions. Short walk to ferry terminal.

Can't think of anything we didn't like. Only slight downside was the late check in time of 4pm.

This property is exceptional. It’s spacious, very clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable like home away from home, with the parking space in Varenna that has very limited parking in general. It offers a lot of welcoming treats, and our host Alfina greeted us the most welcoming way. Highly recommend this property.

Nothing, everything was perfect .

10 / 10Outstanding·Oct 2026

Alfina’s place was fantastic! The apartment was spotlessly clean, and she provided so many extras from welcome drinks and snacks and breakfast items with tons of fruit, to robes and slippers. The bed was super comfortable and we just felt right at home. There is air conditioning in every room as well as windows and doors with screens. We were able to drop off our luggage before check in and head right out. Quick walk from the train station, and quick walk down to the lake. Attractive garden. Close to everything but private and quiet. Highly recommend! Grazie mille, Alfina!
