Good hotel but it needs some repairs and remodeling!

double feelings on this old glory hotel

I will start with good things: awesome location on the lake in a safe town, room with great view,friendly staff (as much their lack of English goes), very comfortable mattress and delicious breakfast.

The rooms are NOT clean (as somebody already wrote, you see other people’s hair on the floor, bathroom), neither they clean floors during your stay. The furniture and facilities are quite outdated (some doors simply do not vlose anymore) and bathroom is moldy. While the bed is huge, they don’t have large enough bedsheets fitting to it - they barely cover the mattress if even(depends on the day..) and keep on sliding off during the night. we had our key kards stopping to wirk twice during our 4-night stay, needing to reactivate it at reception, a bit weird… AND most important we got screwed upon checkout- someone put two dinners on our room, interestingly enough on one of our names… so not just the random room number; which was impossible to sort out with limited English skills of the staff. luckily food is cheap so only about 45 euros lost on it.

Simpel OK hotel, not very clean and behind on maintenance, no 3 of 4 star.

Fantastic view, nice pool, great breakfast and delicious dinner. Big thumbs up to the hotel staff. Roomsize is good, comfy beds, convenience store is open 24/7

Booking.com shows it's a 4 star hotel. The hotel shows 3 stars... Very thin towels, dirty and broken chair, closet's doorhandels falling off, no hair dryer, sauna not in operation, tabelfootbalgame worn out and broken, appartment not clean, fungus in de shower, water remains on de showercabinfloor, no mini bar, no coffee machine in the room, no bathtub.

Good location; Good restaurant; neither peaceful nor private

Area is more appealing than the airport hotel so we decided to try this space. Good for walks by lagoon and observation of wildlife. Restaurant is appealing as is breakfast

Not clean. This is a hotel that accepts transient visitors for pool and outside activity so it’s often noisy and crowded. No feeling of peace or privacy. Staff seem indifferent. For the restaurant service the staff may take a while to ask for your order: best to go to approach them to avoid your building frustration!

Excellent location and value

Excellent breakfast display and service. Dinner was not the same unfortunately was way below our expectation.

Dinner menu-if they don't have the items remove them from the menu.

Decent hotel but nothing special

It was right by the lake and we enjoyed renting the bikes to ride around it. There were restaurants and a grocery store nearby so very convenient. The staff were nice and the location was great. Our room was right over the bar and there was a big soccer game, but luckily the soundproofing was pretty decent.

It seems like our room had been overlooked. There wasn’t any drinking water in the fridge nor were our beds properly made. We had to ask the cleaning staff to finish making our beds and give us some water. The pool is also not very big and super crowded; and the sauna was closed. we were hoping for a little romantic getaway but it’s not really that kind of place. Probably better for families to stay.
