Stay beachside and enjoy many benefits of an oceanfront complex without paying oceanfront prices. Guests staying in Ocean One 124 enjoy a landscape view and won't cross a street to reach the Atlantic Ocean and its white sandy beaches. This condo has been upgraded and the charming decor will make you feel right a home. It has a King in the Master, Two Doubles in BR2, 1 Double and 1 Twin in BR3 plus a sofa bed in the living room. After hours in the surf, vacationers rinse under the outdoor shower located on the complex's private beach walkway and then dip into the oceanfront swimming pool. Ocean One is a five story elevator building located in South Forest Beach. Ocean One has added a brand new grilling area to the complex just beyond the pool. Among the amenities offered throughout Hilton Head Island, Ocean One is one block from the Coligny Beach Market, a quaint downtown area that offers guests a wide selection of restaurants, shopping venues, and entertainment for all ages.

We celebrated my best friends 40th in Hilton Head. We were moved to this location after our first choice had to have some renovations done. We were very impressed with this location. It was very nice and neat and loved that it was right at the pool. We would definitely book this location again. The check-in process was quick and seamless.

Nice 3 bedroom layout with 3 bathrooms. Water was slow going down in two of three showers but the property manager immediately took care the issue by snaking it clean. First floor condo was convenient with children; no elevator needed. Ocean One Condominiums is close to beach, restaurants and stores; you can walk most anywhere.

We have stayed at a couple of different units in Ocean One over the years and truly enjoy the property and the location is unbeatable! Unit 124 is beautifully decorated and updated. Not sure if it wasn't clean or if there is something wrong with the air handling system. Everything is damp: the floor (sticky and dirty), sheets, towels, our clothes. We haven't experienced that before in other units. The sheets and towels were old and stained and need to be replaced. There is a fruit fly problem, which we controlled with a homemade trap. There are very few eating utensils so with 6 people staying we had to use plastic and do the dishes often. There is only seating for 4 people to eat at the table with 2 bar stools. This was our only vacation for the year so we just overlooked it and had fun and enjoyed ourselves.

We loved the layout of this unit. However, there must be something wrong with the a/c unit. Even though the temperature was good there was so much moisture in the air our things felt damp. Towels, clothes, bedding even sitting on the sofa felt damp. We have stayed in many units at Ocean One and never felt this much moisture before. We also had a 14 month old crawling and toddling about and her legs were black from the floor. Had housekeeping come back and mop which helped some but not sure if the flooring just has a finish that rubs off easily or not. Would have liked a few rugs to walk on for this reason. Otherwise the unit was fine. Well decorated and supplied

Well-equipped space literally steps from the beach! We had a great stay at Ocean One! We loved the pool and the proximity to Coligny Plaza. Our party couldn’t figure out the provided fire pits, but the chairs offered a great outdoor space. There were only four dining room chairs and two bar stools for a unit that sleeps 10 which made meals in challenging, luckily HHI offers so many great restaurants.

We have stayed in this unit many times and there have been some nice updates. Dishwasher probably needs replaced though and freezer ice maker doesn’t work well. Unit was mostly clean, but floors could have been swept and mopped. The patio table was filthy. Light bulbs were out in a couple ceiling lights and tv remote with no batteries (issues quickly resolved by seashore though). It is possible that no one was in the unit prior to us, but someone should come do a quick check of the unit in that case. Check cleanliness, lights, wipe down patio furniture. The cushions on the patio chairs and pretty stained and could use replacement. Finally, and this is no fault of seashore, but ocean one now closes the pool at dusk where it used to be open until 11pm. Also fire pits are not year round and it can get cool in the evening with the breeze from the ocean. These 2 things were very disappointing.

We had a great weekend at this property! There was plenty of room, and the condo was in a great location! There was a super nice pool and fire pit area, and easy access to the beach. We will definitely be back!

Everything was great about the location. The property is dingy on the exterior, but nice on the inside. The floors were really dirty when we arrived. The pool had been emptied and was unusable and there was significant construction going on, which they did warn us about, but we'll after we were committed. They were kind enough to offer a discount for the pool being unavailable.

This building is undergoing some renovations so while it wasn’t ideal to have an empty pool it was an easy walk out of the back to the ocean. Location was great!

We have stayed with seashore vacations for 12-13 years and they have always been a pleasure to work with. I've been a property manager in NC for 35 years and know how hard it is to stay on top of all the moving parts. This condo has an ideal location, size, layout...BUT it is advertised to accommodate 10 guests yet you can't feed 10 people. There's not enough dinnerware, flatware, glasses, dining chairs or table room. 10 people can't sit in the LR and watch TV together...i.e. sports. The floors were filthy...our toddler's feet were black from crawling, 3 bags of food in the fridge, coffee pot had grounds and coffee in carafe, sand and hair in one bed and cockroaches!!! I understand it's hard...my major concern is that Buddy is paying staff to clean and he is not getting his money's worth. We left the condo much cleaner than we found it. I hope he can find honest people willing to do honest work...and owners willing to step up the condo to a minimal standard. We pay a lot of money to come to HHI and we would like to enjoy our familyand the island and not clean a condo. We'll be back, Buddy. P.S. our vacation rental in the NC mountains is VRBO #1919263...check us out.

The condo was nicely appointed and spacious. The location is great -first floor, corner unit, very short walk to the pool and the beach. Nice and quiet location, restaurants and shops nearby. Reasonably priced and just what we needed!

This was such a great location , having such a large family it was great that we could all walk anywhere within minutes or less ! The property was very well maintained and worked great for us space wise ! Will definitely be booking for future visits !

The overall rental experience was very good. Our condo was in a great location to everything we needed. It was in good condition and had had some recent updates. The space was nice and served our family well. Check in was smooth and easy and all communication with the rental agency was friendly and helpful. The only complaint would be that upon arrival our unit was not very clean. That would be the one area to improve upon. We had specified a late check-in, so a much cleaner unit was expected.But overall, great experience!

Beautiful condo- fantastic location
This was our family’s first trip to HHI and definitely won’t be our last! Loved our stay at Ocean One! The condo was great size and fully stocked for 7 of us! The location and convenience to everything around us was perfect! Easy beach access and umbrella/chair rentals! Enjoyed their outdoor grill area almost nightly! The pool area was very nice too- just wish the pool was heated- but that didn’t stop the kids!

Great Spring Break
Our family of 8 stayed here for a few days for spring break. The condo was clean and very spacious. It’s a short walk to the beach and also within walking distance to some restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed our time and hope to come back again!

The condo was very large, beautiful, clean, well-stocked and in the perfect location- on the first floor, and a VERY short walk from the ocean. At first glance, we all decided it was the best vacation rental in which we had stayed.
Shortly, we realized it had a few problems. On the day of check in, none of the TVs worked. On the first full day (the second actual day of our stay), a person came to fix them, but he couldn't initially fix the one in the main room (which was the TV my elderly father needed to watch since he could not walk to the ocean). The maintenance guy ended up bringing a new TV in during a second trip later on the same day, but the remote didn't work and there was a line going down the center of the new TV interfering with the picture. I had to get the remote from the bedroom in order to fix the volume (it took me a while to figure it out and my dad watched the TV without really being able to hear it for a while).
On the second full day, which was actually our third day (we only stayed 3 nights), the garbage disposal quit working and a great deal of water flooded under the kitchen sink. A plumber was called to fix the disposal and it took him several hours since he said it was "really" broken.
Because I wasn't sure my elderly dad would be able to handle all of the maintenance men, someone had to stay inside with my dad and wait for all of the maintenance men (even though the agency said we didn't have to be present, I didn't want to leave my dad alone with people he didn't know coming in and out) which amounted to someone having to be inside for one full day for the TVs and one 1/2 day for the plumbing issue.
We only had two full days at the condo and those days were full of maintenance issues.
I might recommend that there be a maintenance checklist before each new renter to prevent the inconvenience. Otherwise, the condo was absolutely beautiful and perfect.

Pleasantly Surprised
We usually stay in a house but are thinking of buying a property & wanted to see what a condo was like. It was great. We felt like we were in a house - esp with this unit because the patio area is very private & quiet. I gave only 4 stars for service b/c I left an item and they promised to retrieve it & call me and didn't.
