La Punta Apartment may be the absolute best location in all of Lake Como. We spent 5 nights here exploring the lake and as I had read in reviews and blogs before coming, Bellagio is absolutely the pearl of Lake Como. The apartment sits at water’s edge and at the point of Bellagio, giving you an almost 360 degree view of the lake. You can see Varenna, Menaggio, Tremezzo, and more from the porch and garden, which was as good as any view we came across while there. The apartment itself is very well equipped and absolutely charming, providing all the modern amenities one would need while on vacation. The beds were comfortable, firmer than I’m used to, but not so much that I didn’t get a good night’s sleep. As one would expect for any floor level apartment stay, there is some noise from the upstairs where the owners and their family live, but that was easily remedied with a sound machine and there was nothing that was ever too loud to bother or wake us. The family was also extremely responsive and helpful during our stay, answering any questions that arose. This apartment and its location was one of our favorite places we’ve ever been and made it very difficult to leave. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to travel to Lake Como.

The host was always available and easy to communicate with. The location cannot be beat, just on the edge of town, right on the water - you wake up to the sound of the lake's waves hitting the shore. Coffee and breakfast is a quick 5 min walk into town. The beds are very comfortable also.
The only suggestion we have that would make La Punta Apartment truly exceptional would be to update some of the furnishings, a more comfortable couch and perhaps adding a comfy chair also. The lighting was also a little challenging, maybe brigher bulbs would do the trick.

The view is incredible. Clara and her daughter, Sonia are incredible hosts and make you feel at home. It was my birthday during our stay and Clara made me a birthday cake. Haven't stayed anywhere with that level of hospitality.
