We had a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely superb, just steps away from Belvedere di Piazza Giovanni Pascoli and within walking distance of all the main points of interest. There are also plenty of excellent restaurants nearby, making it the perfect base for exploring Matera.
The apartment was spotless, exceptionally well equipped, and thoughtfully designed to be both functional and comfortable. A washing machine, dryer, and iron are also available on the ground floor, which is a very convenient extra. The terrace was a real highlight, providing a lovely space to relax and enjoy our stay.
But what truly made this experience exceptional was the host, who went above and beyond in every possible way. We were welcomed with an incredibly generous selection of food and drinks, such a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. The host also helped us find free parking, assisted us with our luggage, and provided excellent recommendations on what to see and where to eat. He even shared fascinating historical insights that made our visit all the more enriching.
It is rare to find such a perfect combination of an excellent location, a beautiful and impeccably clean apartment, thoughtful amenities, and genuine, outstanding hospitality. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Matera!

Our stay was wonderful, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. We couldn’t have been happier! Pasquale was incredibly kind, personable, and responsive, making us feel truly welcome. We especially appreciated the breakfast items, fresh food, and thoughtful touches.
The location was perfect, and everything we needed for a memorable stay was provided. It was also lovely to hear the family history and receive additional local recommendations.

Outstanding welcome, Pasquale gave us an overview of what to see in Matera and why Matera is such a special unforgettable and unique place. The fridge was full of food, local specialities such as fruit, breads, cheeses, yogurt and almonds as well as bottles of water, wine and beer. Enough for breakfast each day and more. The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Really centrally located close to the old town but with modern facilities.We used the washing machine and drier.
Honestly cannot think of a single thing. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful. There is a little balcony for breakfast or coffee. There was enough storage for clothes and USB sockets for phones. It was just a perfect stay.

Great location, friendly and helpful owner. The breakfast was wonderful. Pasquale gave us many good tips about Matera. The apartment is pristine, the interior is very tasteful.
