Really close to some lovely restaurants and bars in Barrio Escalante, which we enjoyed for a one night stay before heading to Puerto Viejo. Convenient for shuttle pick up to the Caribbean coast
Fine spot to stay for a night, but you can definitely get a lot more for a little higher price in the area. Lots of ants

The staff was hospitable and friendly. We appreciated the included breakfast.

Incredible location near the heart of Barrio Escalante, but without any of the noise of the crowded restaurants. Super helpful staff, they welcomed us late at night and helped us with parking and taking us to our room. Facilities are clean and well kept. Breakfast was very nice, too. We only stayed for one night but it was just what we needed and the hotel met all expectations and then some.
No complaints.
