A great size. Really spacious. Very clean apartment with great amenities and good to see they recycle. I was on the first floor so no problem taking my suitcase up one flight. Great views of Edinburgh Castle! In the heart of the city.
No hot water in the morning for a shower.

really clean modern apartment with all the facilities you could need.
only downside is the stairs up to the apartment however this is made clear to guests when booking

Fabulous location with storybook castle views (from the living room and guest bedroom). Well equipped kitchen and very easy access with passcode.
Master bathroom has no mirror in it, which was very odd. Ended up buying one at Boots.

fantastic location with great facilities. Nicely decorated with modern bathroom.
entrance/stairs looking a bit tired, but property itself immaculate.

location, living room space
the entrance of the apartment and the carpets and area leading to the flat is untidy and had a foul smell

140 Princes Street is a great location. The flat, 2a, was nicely decorated and clean, especially the bathroom and kitchen (which we always look for) Comfy beds. TVs in all rooms had ability to watch all apps (Netflix, Prime, Now) if you have those subscriptions, otherwise the Freesat service is equally as good. Great range of eateries on the doorstep, (Ask, West End Brasserie, Huxley's right outside the door and others just five mins away) Direct buses to Royal Yacht Britannia and Zoo and Murrayfield stadium and trams to the airport if needed. Top tip, don't use the open top tours for £15 per person. Edinburgh is too small. Get a Lothian buses family ticket for £11 (covers 2 adults and upto 3 kids) and hop on and off the local buses all day and see the city that way. They're spotlessly clean as well.
Nothing to dislike. The place and location were perfect for our needs

comfortable-nice interior
one room could have done with sofa revamp but otherwise interior is lovely
the entrance is extremely off putting … rubbish /food /cigarette butts all around the entrance -it wouldn’t take much to brush this up each day It really let’s the lovely apartments down

Brilliant place to stay! Perfect location for shopping, sightseeing and close to bars and restaurants. Very clean and good amount of space for 2 people. Staff in office were very helpful with check in and allowing us to store luggage.
Only small things such as a very small chopping board and a slight draft through windows and wobbly kitchen table. Overall brilliant stay though.

The location was incredible.
Needed an extra duvet or some blanket.

Very clean and in a prime location with views of Edinburgh Castle
Due to an issue with the controlled entry system, we couldn't access the property after going out on our first evening. This meant we had to wait outside with no information on when the issue would be resolved on a very cold January night.

location was amazing and the size of the apartment was fantastic. access codes were swift and easy
no lift and depending on which apartment you are on is quite a hike to the top like we were with a bad hip.

Perfect location, spacious and clean premises, prompt response to requests, heavenly beds.

Location was fantastic and flat was easy to access with door codes sent to us prior to our arrival. Staff was very responsive with any questions I had ahead of time.
With no lift available, it was a challenge to get to the third floor with three small children...especially with a pram. While the beds were decent, the one in our master suite had a spring sticking out of it. That said, the rest of the flat was very modern and nicely decorated.

Well located downtown Princes street close to Waverley station . We took the tram from the airport to Princes Street stop and walked 10 mins to the apartment.
it’s warm and spacious, spotlessly clean, with almost everything you need supplied- safe, hairdryer, full kitchen.
Beautiful view of g to e castle from the living room windows.
Washing machine was broken ( really needed it after travelling for 11 days without laundry facilities) . The apartment is on the 4th floor, which means good views but a bit of a slog with 20kg suitcases.
Entry and stairwell look a bit grubby.

Another wonderful, interesting, well decorated and spacious apartment from destiny sc. I’ve been to a few and love them all, hardest decision is which one to choose. This time the castle views are stunning. The support team is very good too and truly listen to any questions, problems you might have. All in all a great deal.
The modern thermostats destiny sc. use are so easy but on this occasion it was impossible to warm up the apartment. Just as well it wasn’t winter.

We were sent a key code which thankfully worked first time. After a bit of a hike up 5 flights of stairs, (not much fun with a heavyish suitcase) we finally got to our apartment, and we weren't let down. The apartment was spacious clean and fully equipped. The view from the living room and the front bedroom were amazing. We had an issue with the front door handle which was still a bit dodgy when we left but as it was key code entry it didn't make us feel less safe inside, we had informed Destiny about this. I cannot fault the accommodation, but you should be prepared for a workout each time you climb those stairs, to be fair we knew that there wasn't a lift and due to the age of the building there won't be one being put in anytime soon.
The stairs :)

Location was good and easy to the airport and train station. Close to supermarket, very clean and had everything we needed. I liked that we could leave luggage before and after our stay at the office.
Noisy unfortunately but wouldn’t have bothered the adults just a bit noisy for the baby.

this was a last-minute reservation as our flight got canceled. We were excited to have such a great location. the apartment was recently renovated, beautiful, clean and had the most spectacular view of the castle during the fireworks! We were thrilled
Lots of stairs for my elderly mother to climb.

No elevator stairs, very steep to lug suitcases. The alarm went off at midnight. We were sound asleep. It took us awhile to connect with the emergency number. It cost us $15 for roaming charges as we are from Canada. The alarm was on for 45 minutes before somewhere someone turned it off!!! The front stoop had garbage and dog poop on it as we went out the front door.

I liked the location - easy to arrange tour pickup right around the corner. Wonderful view of the castle. A number of nice small shops close and easy walk to the mile.
Garbage was everywhere on street (not fault of host - collectors were on strike). Distance from train should be included on the web site when booking so that we would know how far we would need to pull our luggage (we walked it, but it was some distance).
