Our room was lovely and clean and provided everything we needed and it had a lovely outlook over the countryside. Nice breakfast each morning and within walking distance of the village.

A beautiful, quiet accommodation with a very welcoming owner who sends a lot of useful tips and instructions before one's arrival. My room was gigantic, with a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom and a pretty view.
There was a bit of a smell, but that's to be expected at a farmhouse and the dogs too were mentioned in the description.

Fantastic room - sooo big, well equipped, with stauning view, and the most comfy bed I ever slept in. Delicious breakfast. Close to the nature - there was a hare in the garden in the morning.
A pointing mark indicating not only the name but also distance to the property from the main road would be appreciated. It’s easy to mistake the Farmhouse with the first house.

From arriving, and getting a warm welcome from Jane, the whole stay was excellent. Our room was very large and comfortable with spectacular views. The made to order breakfast was lovely, served in a cosy dining area. Location was peaceful but easily accessible by foot, around 15 minutes, or car to the local village, with the oldest pub in Scotland.
There was nothing we did not like, except that we only had a one night stay, would have liked a longer stay. Next time!

Jane was delightful and helpful. The room was wonderful and the grounds beautiful. Good breakfast and a nice visit.
A bit of a walk into town, but I knew that when I reserved.

We stayed in the room called "Heather". It is spacious with a balcony, overlooking the garden. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was very tasty. Bathroom of a good standard.
I was brought under the wrong impression by the information as it appears on the booking.com site. First I thought the room will have a washing machine, a microwave oven and a fridge and that it has views on Lake Lomond. Only to find out, once we have booked in, that the washing machine is managed by the owner in her private space and one has to arrange with her to wash the washing; the microcawe oven and fridge are in the comnunal lounge downstairs (the room is upstairs) and one has to run up and down to heat your food. The views of the lake are non existant. The final straw was when I saw this morning (when the light was better) how dirty the bathroom floor was behind the basin pedestal, around the toilet brush and under the soap container standing on the floor next to the basin. (Human hair and dust...not only yesterday's dust. It was disgusting!!) I also found a used vanity pack that was left in the vanity cupboard.

A very peaceful setting which is a walking distance to Drymen village. It has an excellent pub & restaurant, the Clachan
Very convenient access to the Lochs
Well maintained rooms
Jane, lady of the manor is lovely & an absolute sweetie. Even went over & above to provide emergency lateral flow tests. Double room is highly recommended
only a couple of small suggestions - guests to be given keys or key safe to return to property instead of having to text in times of return & a good coffee machine

The Shannon Farmhouse was a perfect place to stay in our second night in Scotland. The farmhouse provided the most incredible views and Jane was the most gracious host. She greeted us immediately and showed us around. The room was perfect for us. The shower provided the most incredible shower I’ve ever taken. Breakfast was served with beautiful views of the property.

Very friendly hosts and an amazing view. The room and especially the bathroom is very modern. The sitting room with its games and puzzles is just perfect for an evenings entertainment.

We could not have asked for more. Jane was a fantastic host, was so inviting and we felt so welcome the moment we stepped inside her beautiful farmhouse. The farmhouse was spotless, we had a lovely room that was spotlessly clean and so inviting with a lovely view. Absolutely top notch. Breakfast was wonderful, a lovely selection plus a cooked to your requirements which set you up handsomely for the day. Sleeping was so lovely, peaceful and quiet. If we pass this was again we would have no hesitation in staying. Thank you Jane once again for a lovely stay.

The full Scottish breakfast was excellent. Drymen is a great location very near some popular places of interest. Jane was a lovely host and her farmhouse was a great place to stay...Jane has added a lot of nice personal touches which makes it feel like a home from home. I would certainly recommend this farmhouse.
The weather which is unpredictable unfortunately.

The hosts welcome was friendly. The residents area fab, spacious with microwave, tea and coffee facilities, plenty of books and board games. Great outlook. The room was ideal and clean. Bathroom was a superb size, clean and smart. The breakfast menu had a number of items to select from, lighter or full on breakfast. I settled for the Full Scottish Breakfast as I was hiking that day. It was also a bonus that there was parking in the court yard. It is a 15 minute pleasant walk into the village. Ideal location, very quiet.
The twin beds where narrow. This may be due to it being a longtime since being in one.
