Gerne wieder

Es gab kein Frühstück, Selbstversorgung, was aber kein Problem darstellt da es in unmittelbarer Umgebung genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt. Die Lage war für uns sehr gut, von hier war der Strand und Senegambia fußläufig zu erreichen.

Es war alles soweit in Ordnung, was uns allerdings negativ auffiel, bei der Nachfrage nach Toilettenpapier mussten wir dieses von der Besitzerin in der Lodge nachkaufen, sehr merkwürdig. Da es sich dabei nur um Centbeträge handelt glaube ich das die Eigentümerin hier an der falschen Stelle spart und den guten Eindruck der Unterkunft damit eintrübt.

Dette er Afrika så åpne hjerte for forskjeligheten

En rolig oase og man våkner til fuglekvitter og ulene hunder og Tiden for fajr-bønnen er fra daggry. Personale er super hyggelige og hjelper med det meste. Liker følelsen av privat liv og respekt for gjester som ikke liker masse spørsmål . Ca 10 min å gå til stranden og mange butikker ca 5 min gang avstand .

Er super fornøyd og er ikje en ting å klage på

The location is perfect, very central, walking distance from beach, Senegambia strip - important for party people 😉, supermarkets and restaurants. I was travelling alone, stayed here for 10 weeks and always felt very safe. My room offered all what I needed to feel home. The owner of Busy Bee, Claudette, as well as the other crew members like Fatou, Aida, Aisha and the others were always there with open ears and hearts to advice and help in case of need 🙏🏽 I am really sad to leave and will definitely come back as soon as possible.

Really amazing stay in Gambia

The location of this property was excellent. It was within easy walking distance of the beach and many bars, but the area surrounding the property was quiet and secluded. The hosts of the property were lovely and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you to everyone at Busy Bees for making my stay so special.

Nothing was too much trouble .rooms surrounded by greenery .lovely terrace to sit out on . Home made yogurt available on site and interesting natural products for health also made . The peanut homemade butters and jams also worth tasting .The whole experience was relaxing and made for a perfect stay

Perfect!

By far the best place I've stayed in in the Gambia. The owner, Claudette is great, and so are the staff. Everyone was very friendly and extremely helpful. The location is perfect if, like me, you don't like resorts and want a bit of interaction with the local people. It's a residential area, far from the touts, but close enough to walk to the beach or the better restaurants. The room is great, with a well accommodated kitchen and a fridge, hot water always running, nicely decorated and a wonderful sitting area. There's also a shop that sells locally made products, like honey, yogurt and shea butter. Profits go to their organization that helps to cure burns on children. Absolutely recommended!

Good place close to good restaurants!

perfect for two people. Great location. gas oven with all you need pots and pans. safe area with access to western quality dining (steak house) 500m away and a great cheap lokal restaurant with big portions for around 200dalesi. Solomons down by The beach is a great place to have a bath and some food.

dont forget mosquito repellent if you want to sit outside at night. at least they love me.

The location was great. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The beach was at a few minutes walk. The staff was friendly. Claudette is an amazing lady. The facilities were clean and well maintained.

The wifi was a bit slow, which might have been due to rainy season.

A lovely little oasis away from the strip where you can relax and listen to the local residents and wildlife as you drift to sleep. The staff and hosts were incredible. I will absolutely be visiting again next time I'm in town

Busy Bee is a pretty large compound offering several rooms with their own bathrooms and built-in kitchens. They are clean, equipped pretty much down to every details. The big terrace connecting the rooms is covered in plants, rendering a relaxing atmosphere one would wish for in a rather touristy african town. Run by an admirable woman, Claudette, it is a sort of place visitors calls home and keep returning. There is also a small factory inside the compound, where employed local women produces organic products and delicacy such as honey, yogurt, coco delight etc... Only intended to stay 2 days in Kololi, I ended up staying 2 weeks in total, thanks to Busy Bee!

The owner of the property (Claudette) and her team were very accommodating.

The property is conveniently located near restaurants and a supermarket. The owner (Claudette) is an amazing humanitarian, and an asset to her community. She is very knowledgeable concerning The Gambia, and gives helpful social and navigating pointers. Laundering is done absolutely free, and it included some of the best clothing ironing I have experienced in a while. The airport driver (Nasta) is courteous and patient.

The two twin beds that were pushed together were a bit uncomfortable. Instead, a full sized or queen sized bed perhaps would be better.

great for the first days of my long holiday

Positive: Staff unbelievable polite! And the owner Claudette even more!❤️ simple single rooms, very clean, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and all more. streets are pure sand! special, 50 meter to a christian church perfect for me! daily at 7, weekend at 10 am.

In the single rooms the ceiling fan even on highspeed very slow and not efficiency 🥵, very hot room. only one roll toilett paper even for 6 nights. even after i asked the cleaning staff. no problem for me, only 80 D for 4 rolls in the market, but i should know before. next time I know it before🤭

Exceptional!

Busy Bee is beautiful, clean, quiet and feels like home. The rooms are well decorated and well equipped. The host is the very lovely Claudette that ensured I had a great stay, even gave me a free upgrade. Thanks again Claudette. I enjoyed my time there and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Very well run, super clean and secure situated in a nice residential area.

Situated in a leafy residential area, not far from the beach, close to taxis and local transport Light, airy rooms with sitting areas. Very good self catering facilities, comfortable mattress and nice cotton bedding. The shower was hot with good pressure. Rooms were cleaned and bedding changed every three days. Local shop selling bread etc nearby next to popular expat bar/restaurant. The complementary peanut butter, jam and tea coffee were a nice touch I liked the dawn chorus of the bulbuls in the trees outside the back window An excellent base for anyone that would like to do some self catering not far from the beach and other entertainment.

A different type of apartment: . very quirkey. Looking forward to coming back.

Very unusual property to which I have been accustomed to in Gambia. Very well equipped. Especially liked the modern flat screen TV & free laundry! A first for me. Pity there were no rooms with double beds Staff very obliging and a thoroughly good stay overall.

General clutter on roof adjacent to our apartment. Jars put out for drying etc, and washing lines gave an unattractive view.
