Sehr schön gelegenes Bed & Breakfast (tolles Frühstück!), eine sehr charmante Unterkunft mit einem traumhaften Garten, in dem man sowohl frühstücken, als auch den Tag bei Sonnenuntergang ausklingen lassen konnte. Il Torrione ist Teil der Altstadt, daher ist es bis zur Haupt-Bummelmeile nur ein paar Meter. Die Vermieterin ist super nett!
OK, kann Il Torrione nichts für, aber das Wasser des Sees Ende Juli / Anfang August ist nicht der Grund, warum man hierhin reist.

This was an incredible location, with the garden overlooking the lake and seating area on top of essentially a castle tower. Monica was an excellent host. The rooms were as pictured.
The shower was small for some standards, but this is the way of any older European bathroom and is not a knock on this spot.
It has nearby parking but can be a little bit of a walk uphill to access the hotel, which can be cumbersome with a suitcase. Again, as to be expected with this type of location.

Das B&B liegt komplett in der Altstadt, direkt an der Stadtmauer, und hat deshalb schon ein eigenes Flair. Das Zimmer war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet wie auch das ganze Haus. Es war total ruhig nachts und auch mein Bett war sehr bequem.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut und man konnte bei gutem Wetter (was zum Glück der Fall war) in dem idyllischen Garten
daneben mit Blick auf den Lago Trasimeno frühstücken. Abends kann man gemütlich in der Altstadt mit vielen kleinen Lokalen und Geschäften bummeln oder esssen gehen. Sowohl die Chefin als auch ihre Mitarbeiterinnen waren superfreundlich, und ich wäre gerne länger geblieben.
Man sollte wissen, dass man direkt am B&B nicht parken kann, weil es wie bereits erwähnt, direkt an der Stadtmauer liegt.
Außerhalb gibt es zwar Parkplätze, aber sie sind alle kostenpflichtig. In einer nicht weit entfernten Straße, die Richtung See führt, besteht die Möglichkeit kostenfrei zu parken. Je nachdem wie nah ein Parkplatz frei ist, braucht man dann 5- 10 Min.
zum B&B. Aufgrund der interessanten Lage des B&B hat mich das nicht weiters gestört, ist lediglich wichtig für Personen,
die evtl. nicht so gut zu Fuß sind.
