Lovely hosts and a tidy and comfortable room. Excellent bathroom. Quiet at night so had a great sleep. Highly recommend.

A very nice and welcoming family made us feel at home at once. We felt safe walking around in the neighbourhood and met a lot of friendly sowetans. Lunghi, the owner of the house, has lived his whole life here and he is a very interesting and authentic guide with strong opinions about the development since apartheid.

The welcome we received, the genuine care shown to us, the delicious meals specifically prepared for us by Cynthia, and the priceless knowledge shared by Lungi of Soweto itself and its wider role in South Africa's transition to universal suffrage - all 10/10!

Absolutely nothing.

Our stay with Lungi and his family was memorable ! Staying with them is like being part of their family for a short time. You get to experience historical Soweto as well as today’s reality, through the eyes of a local that lived through its history. The food, cooked by Cynthia, and shared with the hosts, was absolutely amazing. We did the 4-hour + lunch bicycle tour and it was super interesting. Lungi was very knowledgeable about Soweto’s history, but also very generous in sharing the untold stories of his city. Don’t miss out ! Oh and the room is perfect, spacious and very confortable.

I ALWAYS ATTEND AN EVENT (SOWETO MARATHON) IN THE 1ST WEEKEND OF NOVEMBER SINCE 2016, I HAVE STAYED IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT SINCE THEN. NOT ONCE DID THEY DISAPPOINT US, THEY'RE INDEED TOP NOTCH PLACE TO STAY. AS A RESULT, ALL MY RUNNING TEAMMATES I TRAVEL WITH THEY HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO STAY WITH ME IN THIS PLACE. LUNGI & PARTNER (OWNERS) ARE INDEED AN AMAIZING TEAM, GREAT HOSTS. THEY ALWAYS WANT TO DO MORE FOR THEIR GUESTS. I'LL DEFINATELY (ALWAYS) RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

TO REALISE THAT WE HAVE TO LEAVE AS WE WERE STILL ENJOING OUR STAY! IF THERE, I CAN'T REMEMBER AS EVERYTHING IS JUST TOP CLASS.

Lungi and Cynthia took great care of us during our stay. Cynthia cooked us breakfast and lunch. Lungi was a fantastic tourguide. He showed us Soweto, the tour was a personal one as Lungi shared with us his personal view of the historic events in Soweto. Very impressive.

Very good start of a stay in South Africa. It allows for some insight in the life in a town ship. All very well explained by lungi the owner.
