Best location for the best price!

The location was fantastic, couldn’t have been better! The room was spacious and had a little balcony. The daily breakfast was delicious. The owner is super friendly. We had a great time staying here!

The bathroom was a bit small but that was fine. Maybe it would be good to have a full length mirror in the room as well :)

Superb

The Otel was just in center, close to the beach, shops, café and restaurant The room was very specious and convient for three of us. Very beautiful garden where a very nice Turkish breakfast is served every morning. Very kind host :) Super happy with our stay in Kekik otel

Very close to the center, the pedestrian and shopping streets, restaurants and the seafront promenade, friendly staff, the terrace with lots of shade and greenery where breakfast is served.

Very hard to find the location. The apartment is actually a room with a larger area or at most a studio (only if you take into account the existence of furniture for a so-called kitchenette!). The room has an untidy appearance, the furniture is old, damaged, with pieces of furniture gathered only to be functional. There is no kitchenette, just furniture that fills one wall and a sink connected to water. Otherwise, absolutely nothing that you can use (we had to expressly ask for crockery and cutlery at the reception!). Execrable bathroom, the most basic possible, with hairs left after cleaning, with a broken shower and a shared ventilation with another room through which you could hear everything, but absolutely everything our neighbors were doing in their bathroom. The air conditioning, only as a fan, without cooling except in extremely short and rare sequences, programmed to close without our intervention. Even though we communicated the problem to the owner, nothing changed, because we suspect that everything is "fixed"! Minimal investment in this room! If you sit with the windows open, the street noise is amplified because the balcony is above a narrow street where motorbikes also pass. Attention, the property does not have and does not provide parking, finding a parking space as close as possible is very much a matter of chance. Regrettably, it was the only location on our tour in Turkey that we wanted to leave as soon as possible! Remember: hotel classifications and standards in Turkey are different from those in Europe!

perfect place but should hire another cleaning lady and do some maintenance

The staff was really great! And the location na perfekt, right in the center od Cesme. Breakfasts were fine

it did not feel very ... clean and the room was in need of maintenance (water taps, toilet, AC)

Exceptional

Amazing breakfast (at their nice patio), very friendly staff and perfect location. I believe the man that was at the front desk is called Nidim (I apologize if not), he was extremely helpful and speaks very good english, which is not that easy to find. The facilities are not new but they are pretty well kept and satisfied all of our needs. We would definitely return to this place if we come back to Cesme.

Nice

Very very nice Appartement, where there is enough place for everyone. It was clean, and cool, the balcony was present. Wonderful location near the Çesme center, seaside, and bus station. Definitely recommend.

A little bit noisy. One of three beds was somehow uncomfortable.

A central, cozy hotel with exceptional hosts

One of the reasons we enjoyed so much the city was due to this hotel. Walking distance from every important touristical place (Marina, Cesme castle, main street, restaurants, ice cream shops etc etc) and a polite and nice host who helped us any time and who spoke very good English (which is a plus for Turkey). We had a big room with small balcony, and the breakfast was enough for 2 people, served on a nice and airy terrace.

The location of the hotel was great everything was close, the sea just a few steps away. Balcon was nice, the breakfast was yummy. Personnel was kind.

Breakfast started too late so if you're planning a full-day program you have to skip it, unfortunately IT wasn't flexible. The room could have better equipment everything was old or didn't function properly.

Great place in the very heart of Cesme

Everything is great: location, staff, comfort. The rooftop offers great views over the old town and castle, we spent a lot of great evenings there. Highly recommend!

A very nicely located budget hotel, run by an incredibly friendly host

- The host - Nadim - was extremely helpful and very welcoming. By the way, he speaks a very good English, so there was not even a slightest hint to any miscommunication whatsoever. The checking-in and checking-out went better than smoothly thanks to Nadim. There are so many things he did which made our stay easy and comfortable, that to list them all would take the entire space for this review. It's worthy to stay in this hotel, just because of Nadim. - Location is central. The hotel is just one block away from Cesme main square and main shopping street with all the restaurants. The nearest beach is less than 10 mins walking distance. If you get there by bus, you'll need about 15 mins walk to get to the hotel from the Cesme bus station (Cesme Otogar). The town of Cesme is hilly, but the Kekik hotel is situated in the lower level of the town, so it's very easy to get to if you're tired. Also, if you need to take a minibus to reach a beach or any other destination, then you'll need about 7 mins to get to the nearest minibus stop in the Cesme downtown (Cesme Merkezi). - Breakfast is a perfect example of a typical Turkish breakfast: eggs (either boiled or fried), 2 types of cheese, 2 types of olives, cucumber, tomato, a variety of jams, Nutella, bread, tea, watermelon. Breakfast was something I am missing a lot now).

- Soundproofing. The noise from the outside of the hotel as well as from other guests in the hotel can be distracting at times. - Room amenities could be refreshed. - No cooking items or kitchen utensils. Based on my research it's typical for the appart hotels in the vicinity to have unequipped kitchens, making cooking in the rooms impossible. Something that I was very surprised with, since having a fully functioning kitchen is what essentially makes a hotel an APPART hotel. But that's not a minus to the Kekik hotel, it's the same with all the hotels in the area. Moreover, on our request the host provided us with an air dryer, so the issue was solved. - Few cutlery items and only 2 dishes. - No cleaning tools. Normally an appart hotel would have a set of cleaning tools. Although the cleaning was done regularly by the hotel cleaning lady, I prefer to have a possibility of cleaning the place on my own - especially after some food has been consumed in the hotel room.

I liked everything in this hotel It is very comfortable. It has prime location. Service is excellent. Nadeem is such a nice person. He is always ready to give help. If you want to have a comfortable stay with an excellent location this is your place in Cesme. Don't go further.
