Marvellous reception by host. So friendly. Gave us a tour of the appartment and a couple of tips and then was out of our way. Was always available for any questions and responded really quickly.
The appartment was amazing! So well equiped. Usually you miss bits and bobs in a holiday rental - here, not at all. The attention to detail and to comfort was absolutely amazing; from the delicious Jura maker, to the lint rollers, to drinks and snacks for our consumption. Extra tea towels, knives that actually cut properly, sieves, multiple pans etc etc. The windows had screens against the mosquitos.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The showers are lovely, good pressure.
The kitchen has a lovely Austrian sitting corner which also serves as the communal sitting room (if you're not sitting outside).
Also, and very importantly, the appartment and the areas around the house are incredibly clean (and that's saying something from someone who is highly critical about this aspect).
The location is beautiful with an amazing view. The appartment had a great terrace area with chairs and cushions and blankets. The garden, for use by all guests, had a small pool, table tennis table, reclining chairs, playground for smaller children (not that we needed that but is was so sweet to see) and did I mention...The View?!
So close to Salzburg that you can combine walks in nature in the surrounding areas with a city trip to this beautiful city.
By the way, this is also an amazing location if you are wanting to drop off an student to the Universities in Salzburg (in fact it is a 5 min drive from the FHS location Urstein).
But really, this is all down to the hosts who seriously do a marvellous job of thinking of how they can provide the best place and service and with genuine friendliness.
We received a little leaving present when we left, thanking us. So kind.
I highly recommend the Armstorfer appartments!
Only one thing... I have sensitive skin and I found the bedding quite scratchy.

The apartment exceeded our expectations — it looked exactly as pictured, and was even more beautiful and impressive in person. It was brand new, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need. The house is located in a wonderfully peaceful and pleasant area, away from the crowds, while still offering excellent access to the surrounding attractions. The guest card with free public transport is a fantastic bonus — Salzburg can be reached by train in just 15 minutes.
The views from the terrace are beautiful and the whole place is perfect for relaxing. Our daughter absolutely loved the swimming pool and trampoline. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back!
