Very friendly staff, good breakfasts
The beds were old, one of the beds made a sound every time the person on it moved. The air conditioner is also old and very loud, we couldn't sleep with it on.

Great price-quality relationship! The staff was very welcoming, the pool and garden super beautiful, varied food in the buffet for all tastes. The room had space, a nice bathroom and balcony.
Our room was a bit too hot, and the air conditioner made a lot of noise when turned on. An update to this system would be nice.

Really beautiful, clean and quiet place. The staff was very cheerful and helpful. Prices were good. I recomend a room with a pool view, its amazing! During the day on the pool area there was entertaiment and games and in the night in the terrace was really nice live music. There is a park on the back of the hotel, very good for walks.
The food was a bit of a dissapointment. Breakfast was the same for 7 days so a bit boring. Dinners were okay, not good or great, just okay. The restaurant's closing time was 22.15 but when we went at 21.15 we felt a bit rushed to finish our food. We ate for 20 mins, lots of the food was already being taken back.

nothing
the property is dated, there is nothing 4 star in anything in the hotel. the staff looks and feels like is forced to just walk nonstop around the tables and disturb everyone eating. a waiter, one morning was cleaning the chairs with a brush just next to everyone who was eating. the room does not look like anything in the picture, no light, not a single bottle of complimentary water and almost every service advertised as a facility, they were asking money for it. i went and asked for a parking spot because they are advertising free parking nearby and there was nothing free nearby and they simply raised the shoulders and were rude, extremely rude. no indication in the room on how to call the reception, they advertised the soundproof walls and we got some heavy knocks on the door from our neighbors probably, and could hear all night snoring from the other room. when we complained about it another lady from reception said she’ll check the cameras and come back to us. never did. I don’t understand why so many good reviews. there is nothing 4 star about this hotel, nothing.

Relax and very good position in the middle of the nature
Little parking for the car, you need to ask to the reception if they have space in the interior parking.

Quiet hotel.
Advertised as an adults only hotel, there were quite a few children staying. the room are soulless, no art, no hooks to hang a towel etc. The small touches were not there at all. the suite was bare of anything to make it feel comfortable.

Great garden with pool, rooms with balcony, amazing food and friendly atmosphere.
In front of hotel never had empty parking spaces.

The hotel is situated it the calm part of Puerto de la Cruz, with a large garden and right next to a very nice park. The hotel staff is great, very kind and happy to help you when needed. Breakfasts were good, even if focused on the German tourists. But there was some local food as well. Bathroom and hotel rooms were spacious and clean.
The hotel is on a hill so it takes a while to walk uphill from the city. But there is a shuttle bus service available for those who can't or don't have time to climb up.
WiFi was terrible unfortunately. The signal was strong enough here and there but not in every part of the hotel room and during the majority of the day it didn't work at all. We had to use our own mobile data. Definitely quite an issue if you need to work remotely.
The distance and the need to climb uphill is a bit sad but that is something which is obvious from the location of the hotel so you have a chance to know that in advance and prepare for that. But as mentioned in the positives, there is a shuttle bus service compensating this "handicap".

it is rather quite, good views to the inner garden with swimming pool and mountains, volcano
separated beds (only option), food (good that we had to eat only breakfast), location (on a hill, not pleasant to walk down to the city center and back)

This was our second visit to Taoro Garden hotel after staying for the same duration this time last year. We like the location of the hotel being up in the hills away from the town along with ample parking available either directly outside the hotel or in the larger car park nearby.
The tropical gardens are nicely maintained and there are beautiful views of the mountains and Teide from most angles of the property.
The breakfast buffet is very good and has lots of choices albeit these do not change very much so it does get a bit repetitive.
Lastly, all the staff, in particular restaurant and reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
The original room offered to us was on the LG floor with a room that opens out directly onto the garden. These rooms felt very dated compared to the room we had the previous year. The layout of the room wasn’t great and has a single bedroom at the back which wasn’t what we expected, no full length mirror in room, and generally quite run down inside with flaky paint and exposed pipes in the bathroom. Despite being right in the garden our balcony overlooked the life buoy and was right on the footpath so you have people walking past your window all day. We asked reception if we could change rooms and luckily after just one night we were moved up to the 1st floor where the room was much better.
The cleanliness of the stairwells could be improved, there were lots of cobwebs visible and windows weren’t clean, the carpets look dirty and need updating.
There is building work going on next door to the hotel and so all day by the pool you can hear construction works and drilling and there is a huge crane swinging overhead blighting the view.
The total price of our stay in 2022 has increased by 19% year-on-year (£135/€153) for the same number of nights during the same period stayed in 2021, even though I booked back in February 2022. That equates to currency movement of 4% (+£32) and a price hike of 19% (+£99) which I’m not sure is justified given the hotel is looking quite tired and in need of renovations.
This hotel is still probably the best large hotel on offer in Puerto de la Cruz, but that’s mostly due to lack of other options.

This hotel again was fantastic. It never ever disappoints. Its in a fantastic location, love the gardens and the local park. The staff here go above and beyond to make your stay here exceptional. Again special mentions to Ramon, Nuria and a very special mentions to Jessica and Manu. We did have a small problem but it was sorted very quickly and efficiently. The spa treatments in this hotel also worth a mention absolutely fantastic and very reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
My only negative was there was children here as we booked thinking adults only BUT its in the wording children not recommended. However, although a negative for us the children were not a problem had we have been in August maybe it would have been I don't know.

Good quality was good. There was also sufficient staff, which makes the experience better compared to other hotels.
There are only 10 parking spaces for guests. Why even say there is parking…

Staff has been wonderful throughout the whole stay. Food was great and rooms were tidy. Downtown area is within walking distance and has plenty of great bars and restaurants.
The gym could definitely use an upgrade.

We love the food, location was also great, but what really makes this place great, it is it's staff !
A coffee maker in the rooms will be an amazing add, also some complimentary water for the arrival day.
