Very good, value for money stay near Boudha.

Exceptionally well done breakfast. I was taken aback by kindness of Yangchen who accompanied me for Kora to Boudha as I had flight due in 2.5 hours. Sourabh made sure the breakfast was healthy and met our expectations. thanks for managing the property so well

Overall a great experience and very beautiful place for good price.

The location was great, it was walking distance to the stupa and to many restaurants and shops. The staff was super friendly and always had a smile on their face.

Nothing much but since the gates are closed at night there should be a guard their at all times in case we come back late.

Very good

My ID card was deposited during my stay and forgot to give it to me at the time of my check out. Now I have come to India, I asked to get it through courier, 2400 Indian rupees were asked which is very high.

Bad

Location is good, it's in the Boudha area and just very close to the Stupa. The size of the room was big as we chose the Jr Suite room.

Check-in time was supposed to be 2 pm but we're made to wait for 45 mins till we got the room. It looked as if they ignored us on purpose as we were from India. We were given the Sambhala Suite. The wardrobes were really dirty. No bathroom mat was provided and we had to repeatedly ask. Without our permission, when we were outside, the housekeeping lady dared to enter the room and we had to complain about this.

Spacious room and very good staff

The four of us stayed in a family room, which was nice and spacious. We had a lovely 7 day stay. The hotel staff was proffesional and helpful, even arranged taxis for us. Served breakfast (not the buffet) was very good. For the first 2 days we had few problems in the hotel, but the hotel manager did all he could to fix this. Thank you. We will come back.

For the first 2 days there was a buffet breakfast which was bad, too spicy with very few food options. Luckily, they changed that type of breakfast. Thanks!

Had a great time during my stay.

I like the staffs there. They are very respectful and very helpful. The cleaning team Subhash, Renuka and Reshma are very caring and always making sure our room is clean and refilled when we comeback daily😉 which is very kind of them😊. The receptionist Chandni is very helpful and nice ☺️. both the gate keepers (day and night) are very helpful. I had a great with my family at Lavie Residence and I hope to visit soon again.

After every shower whole bathrooms get wet. Need to be lil better .

Kathmandu can be pretty overwhelming, I would definitely stay at LaVie again.

this was a great location, very close to the Boudha stupa, about a 8 minute walk away. It was very restful. The food in the hotel restaurant was good and there was an affiliated restaurant (LaVie Gardens) right across the street with a wider menu. Also close by - Ananda treehouse, which offered some gluten free options. Had a wonderful massage in the spa.

I would definielty stay there again! Great place at great location!

All the staff in the hotel was lovely and friendly and very helpful. The shower is wonderful, bathroom very clean. I enjoyed the food I ate at the 2 hotel restaurants. The roof terrace is also lovely for a relaxed beer after a long day walking !

There were too many moth balls used in my wardrobe and i did not like to use it as the smell was too intense.

My overall experience was just amazing, thanks to all the staff of LaVie! I will definitely come back.

The LaVie is a beautiful modern clean heritage hotel, the room was big with huge windows and a view over Kathmandu city & mountains. The staff was super friendly and helped me in any way possible, so many smiles and kind faces. I booked a spa circuit treatment which was just the best thing I have ever had in Nepal, again, so kind, making sure you are comfortable and communication was good!

overall property it self meets the expectations and all the staff was very sweet and professional. Specifically Chandani tamang went out of her way to make my family feel very comfortable and safe. She even let me check out few hour late without an extra charge since my flight was at night. Thank you to team lavie residence and spa

Service is excellent and room is spacious! Staff were friendly and attentive (Manager remembered us when we came back for the food again). Food from both Lavie Residence and Lavie Garden is awesome, might be the the best in Boudha! We had a short stay at Lavie Residence and headed up to Kopan Monastery to further our stay, then came down back to Lavie Garden for their food because it was so delicious and we missed it! We ordered Veg Briyani, Butter Paneer Masala, Garlic Naan, Farmer’s Pizza, Garlic Aloo Bomb, Lavie Magic Aloo, and ALL WERE FANTASTIC, oh not to forget the Veg Momo! We travel to Kathmandu every year and will come back over and over again from now now. Location is great and a short walk to Boudha.

Disappointing experience. Not what I expected for price I paid.

Location is pretty close to Boudhanath stupa. Staffs were very friendly.

I booked this hotel for peaceful stay with with family. To be honest, it was a huge disappointment. For the price I paid rooms were disappointing. They checked me in a room with used bedsheets. You could see blood stained tissue on the toilet which was not flushed. Later they changed the room to the new one. They told me that they do not iron bedsheets and it had all the wrinkles which made it impossible to notice if its clean or used. Breakfast was really poor: you just get a coffee, omelette, bread and sausage plus veggies. Bread was super hard. All in all the hotel did not meet my expectations.
