About this condo rental
Nestled in Edinburgh, this lovely condo for $514 per night is a great option for your next break. This is an amazing city centre apartment, newly refurbished to an outstanding standard. Located right in the centre of Edinburgh, you couldn't get a better location. This, put together with the delightful interior make for ideal short breaks in this beautiful city. Situated on the first floor of an B listed building. The bright living room is complimented by a large window with a Juliette balcony overlooking the bustling Royal Mile (Canongate). A wide range of shops, bars and restaurants are literally a stones throw from the apartment. The apartment offers a large living room, with two large 3 seater sofas and one armchair There is a large dining table with seats and a bench. Two double bedrooms both with ample bedroom storage, one of them with a double bed and the other one with two singles. One bedroom looks on to the Royal Mile and the other to the shared paved garden at the rear of the property with views out to Calton Hill and its monuments. The separate kitchen comes fully equipped including fridge/freezer, oven and induction hob, washing/dryer machine, dishwasher microwave, toaster and kettle. It has a large window with views out to Calton Hill and its monuments. Beside the kitchen is a utility cupboard with an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. Just off the entrance is the bathroom, which has a heated towel rail, a shower over the bath, and views out to Calton Hill and its monuments (with frosted glass at the bottom of the window for privacy). The property has laminate flooring except in the carpeted bedrooms and tiled bathroom, and is decorated in neutral cream and stone tones, which together with the large windows throughout, confer a calming and refreshing atmosphere. With a capacity for 4, this apartment offers a great retreat for 2 couples or familes. Please contact us first if you wish to come with small children. The flat has gas central heating throughout Arrival time is 4pm however the property manager will be as flexible as possible with prior notice. Check out time is 10am. Later check outs may be possible with prior arrangement. There is a key safe facility at the property so guests do not have to worry about late arrivals or unforeseen delays Baggage drop off facility available. Please consult availability. Secure parking is available near to the apartment which is about a 2 minute walk (New Street car park). Further information upon request.

Duncan’s flat is extremely cozy and in an amazing location. Just a few minute walk from the train station, the royal mile and new town with access to amazing restaurants and pubs. The flat itself comes with everything you might need for a trip!

We were there for the Fringe and this was our best location yet. Duncan was an excellent communicator and the place was really comfortable, light and bright. As expected, there was some noise Friday and Saturday nights but that’s what Edinburgh and the festival are all about. Loved it.

I have been communicating with Duncan about this trip for 9 months. Wanted to take my daughter and granddaughter to celebrate her high school graduation with something special and memorable. Duncan did NOT disappoint! Wish there was an option of more than 5 stars as he deserves them. Flat could not be more conveniently located. Do not hesitate to stay here!

This flat is a great place to stay in Edinburgh, right in the Royal Mile - mid way between the Castle and Holyrood. Despite the austere exterior and entry, the flat is cozy and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen and laundry. The main sitting room is great for hanging out and has a place for dining. Duncan (the host) is on top of everything, providing clear instructions and quick answers to any questions.

The location was very convenient to all of the major attractions. The apartment was very comfortable with nice size living room and bedrooms. The bathroom was rather tight with little space to place toiletries and could use some upgrading. If you're driving yourself the arrival may be somewhat stressful. There's no "legal" place to park for unloading and loading except right on the curb of the busy street and the closest parking garage is a couple of blocks away so try to plan ahead for that. The building entry could use some upgrading and cleaning, but get past that and the apartment is comfortable and quiet.

The apartment is in the most perfect location, where everything is in walking distance. Communication with the owner was always prompt and clear. Everything was perfect, the flat is located right in the heart of Edinburgh, the best location for walking to all great places in Edinburgh. Highly recommended. Also the host, the communication, the check in was perfect. Duncan was very courteus, always contactable if needed ( which we didn't ) and a great host. Duncan couldn't have been nicer as a property owner and the location was great. Really close to everything and we could just walk to most places. We had a great time visiting Scotland and Duncan was very helpful whenever I asked him questions. He was prompt and courteous. It was a great experience for me and the rest of my family. Duncan made it easy to be relaxed and have a great experience.

Excellent 10 days.
The location was perfect for our trip. We had several family and friends staying close by and they could meet us at our flat as we were very central. It was quiet but could sit and people watch from our couch. Would love to stay here again.

Birthday treat
The apartment has a great location, near to Waverley station & most major attractions. Plenty of restaurants within a short distance. All of the amenities within the apartment more than met our expectations. The only exception being the washing machine which we were unable to use as the handle/door lock was broken. We would also have liked a window blind in the bathroom . Thanks for a lovely stay.

Nice two bedroom flat with small, but equipped kitchen and bath. Quite nice for being in the older part of town.

Excellent location on the Royal Mile
This is a simple and functional two bedroom apartment with lots of the necessities of apartment living. Lots of dishes and glasses and useful kitchen items, even umbrellas for the rains. The only glitch was that the washer dryer included no instructions and so our clothes got washed but didn't get put through the drying cycle. Luckily there was a drying rack in the apartment and so we hung them to dry (mostly),
