A nightmare! Terrible experience.

The location. The quick refund after I contacted customer service.

It's really hard to write bad reviews for how they can affect hosts and their business, but sometimes it's the right thing to do. I avoid writing bad reviews unless necessary and this is one of those cases. I booked the apartment for 2 nights, with a check-in which should have been around 22, but that due to a flight delay was postponed to midnight. The host was very responsive since the time of the booking, and welcomed me on time at my arrival. While entering the apartment the host let me know that there was no water in the whole building, while carrying (no elevator! 4th floor) and emptying a box full of water bottles for me to use instead of a shower/sink. The host doesn't speak English at all, which ws not an issue for me,but I think that guests should know that communication will happen through a translator and more difficult for this reason. The host is kind, but kindness doesn't take a business far if it's not well managed. She told me the water damage would be fixed the day after, which didn't happen(at least until 13 on the 2nd day). While this is already unacceptable enough, what infuriated me the most is that the host knew in advance about the problem and didn't tell me until I was already there, preventing me to find another stay asap, leaving me late at night with no chance of finding somewhere else to stay. At the check-in, I paid for my stay and I didn't say anything hopeful that the next day the problem would be solved. The host reassured me that it'd be fixed and I had nowhere to go,so I stayed. I then wanted to go to sleep, but I couldn't because I was joined by 3 very big cockroaches, one after the other, which made me think that more could be around. While I am not scared of them, the idea of sleeping with more coming was not exactly what I was looking for on my holiday. I didn't sleep at all and this ruined an already difficult stay due to the lack of water.

COCKROACHES !!! avoid this place

It is very rare that a rental apartment makes me cry. And as much as I hate writing bad reviews, I must warn other guests about this place. We checked in late, around 10:00PM. First impression, the building's staircase smelled terrible from cat feces, the apartment was not ready and was not cleaned properly. Also, the boiler was off, so the water was cold. Soon, we saw the first COCKROACHES. They were near the beds and in the bathroom. We killed 4, and a 5th one escaped. We couldn’t contact the owner. Because it was so late, we had nowhere else to go. We were desperate and terrified, so we slept inside the duvet covers. It was a total nightmare.. The owner came in the morning. She did not apologize and did not care. At first, she refused to give our money back because we "stayed the night." She was arrogant and yelled at us in Bosnian. She also mentioned that more guests were coming that evening. And my question is, how can you rent out an apartment with a cockroach infestation??? Book another place for your stay!

A wonderful stay!

The location was perfect! The apartment was very clean and the beds were very comfortable! The woman from the accommodation was very sweet and caring! My bus got delayed and she stayed until I arrived. I had a great stay! I highly recommend it !

Good location but needs lots of improvements and a responsive host

The place was situated just few minutes away from the town.

All the reviews were very high so I was expecting better. The hot water was not running at all. I messaged the owner and she was not helpful at all, after replying once she stopped responding and I was left with cold water for the entirety of my stay. It was horrible. The kitchen was very dirty, stains everywhere. The WiFi cut off at random time of the day which was really inconvenient. There was a smoke-like smell from the moment we got to the apartment, although there was a sign on the wall saying no smoking allowed. The toilet lid would NOT stay up. It was noisy as the apartment is located above a busy street where tram run til late.

Everything. Clean, central, the owner’s mother was so lovely even though we could not speak the same language. The flat has everything you need for up to 4 people.

It was no big issue but toilet seat kept falling but overall it is great
