The only pleasant staff was the young girl at reception was very helpful

We had to wait for 45 minutes to be let in for checking in even do we had rang 1 hour before we got there and we had to ring again the gentleman who came was not very pleasant and you want to charge 30 euros for that service there should be some sort of security at night in the complex as there was fire alarms set of just for fun my husband was sitting on a plastic chair on the balcony and it disintegrated under him and was left in a bad way he had to attend his doctor when we got back we have been going to the rio since 2007 and never had a problem but it has gone down a lot the pool and pool side area was not cleaned for 7 days we were there and this apartment are not suitable for families if you need photos of chair I can send them

The location short distance to the marina.

I didn't feel safe the doors where very thin anyone could very easily gain access into the rooms. Need to make sure the latch was on the door. You can hear everything in the rooms and outside. The corridors are very dingy no day light. They offer a laundry service but I had a wedding and wanted to get the wedding clothes ironed but they didn't offer this service they do have an iron in the room so wasn't stuck.I asked for a hair dryer and would have paid a deposit for this as its not noted on there facilities. but again they didn't have any. I requested my sheets to be changed because they don't change them for anyone staying for a week and they didn't know the cost for this so again didn't happen and they never got back to me. They require a deposit also for the free WiFi. I had to pay a deposit for the room incase of any damage of 200 but when I got to the room I had to take pictures of all the items damaged already which was quite a lot so I wouldn't get charged. I also haven't received notification of the return of that deposit yet. If they are going to request deposits then make sure you note everything that's wrong on arrival because they are very outdated and in need of repair. So defo wouldn't be returning. Mind you the pool was very nice and the restaurant and staff were very nice. The balcony was nice but enclosed got no sun at all some people might like this but wasn't for me.

Awesome place for holidays

Super friendly staff,any problems resolved immediately ,Air-Conditioning,WiFi and TV in apartment. Amazing Restaurant on site 👌 foods are delicious.Rio is located very close to Marina ,Centre, local beaches and millions other restaurants ,Shops nearby if needed,the weather is beautiful there

Very loud slamming of the door in early morning and late evening , problem with opening or closing the door in apartment ,bathroom etc...,poorly soundproofed windows you can hear everything around,quality of room .The swimming pool is much smaller than in the photos.Holes in the fence from the pool side that people who did not live in "RIO" passed through,very small elevators in which the doors do not open automatically.

Homely find

The one bedroom apartment has everything that you need. Homely atmosphere and was provided plenty of towels. 5 mins in taxi to marina. Staff very nice and professional. The restaurant/bar although owned by another was fantastic by the pool. Their food and service outdone anywhere in the Marina. Definitely will return

A little outdated but could not fault the decor as it was spotlessly clean. Just note that if your flying in after 6pm to inform reception and they will facilitate meeting you with your keys, that was not am issue at all.

Great value for money Apartments was spacious and comfortable Restaurant attached was fab Location great

No staff around Reception closed completely, you need to phone someone with any issues 7 sun loungers for the whole pool to share so most people lying on the garden on towels, however there were lots more and parasols locked in bathroom Pool toilets locked whole time we were there No cleaner or change of towels or sheets

Superb

It was a little tired the apartments but had everything we needed.

All ok but for some rowdy clients that had no consideration for other guests especially at 3am in the morning. We did mention this to reception as we were checking out and she said that she would be having a word with them.
