Mercure gave us a family room which had plenty of space. Our room was well maintained and the bed very comfortable.
The breakfast offered at the hotel was very good. A major reason for selecting this hotel was it's location which is close to the Papal Palace. There were also some nice restaurants nearby.
Unloading bags from our car into the hotel was a bit of a challenge as this is done at the front of the parking garage entrance and not much room is available to temporarily park the car while unloading.

location perfect! Right near the center of the old city.
Modern design would have been better if complemented by at least a few historic exhibits.

Good location, easy access to the town. Pet friendly
Lack of umbrellas when the rain came down! No obvious parking except away from the hotel
