The staff, they were excellent, location was great!
If you want a more town environment, you might want to stay at the top of the hill in Vico Equense. We preferred by the water

A beautiful boutique hotel with full use of the facilities at the larger sister hotel. Staff were attentive, friendly & helpful, the hotel is spotless and our room had a fantastic view over the harbour. The breakfast was fabulous, can't fault this hotel they go above and beyond to make your stay special
The ferries were not reliable (not the hotels fault but just be aware) and you need to book the free hotel shuttle or else take the steps up to the main town

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Le Ancore Hotel. The concierge and housekeeping staff were tremendously helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The room was clean. The air conditioning worked well! The hotel offered free shuttles to the transit hub (which offered easy transport to Sorrento, Pompeii, Naples), and the concierge was very helpful in booking ferries to various locations (e.g., Positano, Amalfi, Capri). We would not hesitate to return!
These were things completely outside the control of the hotel staff, but when we visited (in early October), we had a few nights where there were fireworks going off around 12am or so and some pretty loud thunderstorms in the middle of the night.

Lovely peaceful location right by the sea, the view was superb overlooking the marina and Vesuvius. The room was comfortable and the whole hotel was beautifully decorated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast too!
Nothing, it was great!
