The location is gorgious and therefore, I went there.
The hotel offers nothing to eat after the set lunch time and before the set dinner time. There is no shop nearby. If you want to sit on their terrace, which looks nice on the pictures, they tell you, that they do not serve food outside on the terrace. They do not offer any alcoholic beverages during lunch and before dinner time. Are we in Utah? In North Korea? In the evening again, they throw you out of the restaurant latest at 9pm and send you to bed. There is a lounge area downstairs, where you are not allowed to sit and have a beer. We did anyway. Staff was incredibly unknowledgeable about everything. Not helpful. The hotel shop downstairs had no staff. The pictures do not represent the reality. 4 stars? May be, 3 stars 30 years ago. Air con and heating are stoneage. No drinks Drinks are available at Feelings Lobby Lounge and Abbey Road Sky Lounge. The Sky Lounge is only open in summer. Only 1 restaurant is open in May. 2 elevators for more than 100 rooms. I do not want to be there, if a fire breaks out.

The location is just a few minutes walk to Seroksan National Park. Although the hotel is not new, the facilities and room are big, clean and comfortable. Value for money.
Lack of choices from the restaurant and operating hour.

Hotel right next to the entrance of the national park so perfect location if you are walking in the park. Rooms very spacious with comfortable beds, also had a bath.
If you don’t wish to eat at the Kensington there are very limited options for food. Some restaurants in the park entrance but not open late, otherwise walk a mile down the road to the village centre which is dilapidated and scruffy. We only found couple of places open.

Nothing.
Room, carpet, curtains, wallpapers are extremely old. They need to renovate the hotel asap.

The perfect location that can walk to the national park! And the staff are very friendly.
Really need a renovation, everything looks old and dated, shower and room are big but bad sound proof. Breakfast is the same menu (we stay two days and it was the same).

Attentive staff. And british atmosphere at park entrance.. in particular the responsiveness of staff who helped me to get my glasses back to Europe that i forgot in my room .. really exceptional . Also the restaurant us excellent

Location is the best if you want to visit the Seoraksan National Park.
Not much facilities, quite old, no replacement of cups in the room In the whole 4 days.

The hotel is old, and it's not the cleanest place, but I like the interior and the vibe, so I love coming here. The breakfast was good too.
The room I got this time was especially lacking in cleanliness.

Fantastic location. Nice staff. Middle of nature. Great views from the room.
Keep in mind the restaurant is only open on Fri and Sat, huge disappointment for such remote location.
Rooms are old, housekeeping could be better (often no new coffee supply, doing bare minimum cleaning), hard beds and bar closes at 5pm.

Delicious. Very happy
I can’t think of anything bad.

Our stay was very comfortable - our room had a beautiful mountain view and the location next to the national park is absolutely fantastic. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic.

Very close to the Park, nice view, pretty unic and kitchen atmosphere. Super convenient for a family where yould be 4 people in a room
It was low season so no restaurant opened there. It is a 30' walk to get to one and they are not the best of what you will eat in Korea (seoraksan is a touristic place :))

An ok hotel, although it is 4stars, was less wow than simpler b&b
Squeezing 4 adults in a room is not ideal.
Price of 30,000 for breakfast seems too high, we skipped it

great location, good breakfast, interesting place.
very limited options for food (no food the first night and only expensive Korean BBQ the second night)
Not the level of service expected for this hotel standards.

Perfect location, few minutes walk away from the park entrance. Clean and quiet.

Staff are very friendly
Very comfortable to stay, relaxed atmersphere.
Really enjoyed Queen's dinner for my husband birthday.
The name should be King's dinner.
King Charles 3rd now.
If I have to say, the hotel needs some refurbishment.
However old means good anyway.

Location is superb if you're planning a really long hike in the Seoraksan Park. You can get to park entrance by foot in 5 minutes, so no wasting time for transfers, you can go there right after breakfast and go to shower or to sleep after you are done walking and climbing. Breakfast is quite agreeable btw. Steaks are also OK. Nice view from the room balcony.
Hotel facilities look like they have seen better times, to put it mildly. The design is... quite unique. I wish this place was taken better care of. Also we found several old hotel slippers under our bed, which implies we were the first to even look under it.

Amazing stay and great location for comfortable access to the National Park. We stayed one night and it was great!

location
old, stuffy, the furniture, carpet worn out.

I loved the location and food/buffet offerings
the place looks very outdated and grungy. I like the little historic charms and the memorabilia’s but need to refresh a bit and completely renovate the rooms and carpets!

View was good for those rooms with mountain view.
Some counter staff were friendly, only 1 particular lady during my check out wasn’t that approachable.
Staff at breakfast were wonderful too and definitely very helpful as well.
The family triple was a good size - double and single for those with children.
The towels (bring your own towels unless u don’t mind towels with heavy detergent smell)
Bath tub needs some cleaning if you intend to soak in it.

Location is very good for a visit to the park and old British style if you like it. Nice staff
Avoid eating at the hotel (breakfast, lunch or dinner): expensive, very limited choice, you have much better and cheaper options within the park.
Expensive accommodation per Korean standards
