It was great location easy to wall around our only problem was sat nav tried to take us wrong way.
The staff were really helpful room spotless
The breakfast the boiled eggs were already peeld but were really wet and the white was rubbery a better selection of cheeses would have been good

Hotel is opposite the train station and the area felt safe. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome. There are plenty of food places nearby or in the station. The old part of the city is an easy 10-15 min walk.

Location is great if you are travelling by train. The hotel is literally across the road from the Rennes train station. This worked out well for us as we were catching a 6:25am train to CDG on the morning of our departure. It was also convenient for returning our rental car the previous afternoon, as the rental car offices and parking are inside the station. Despite being so close to the station, we didn't experience any traffic or other noise during the evening.
The bathroom smelled really bad and there was visible mould on and around the ceiling of the bathroom. Also, the TV was weirdly positioned across the doorway to the bathroom, which was a real hazard for a taller person hitting their head when entering and exiting the bathroom.
