Matt and mark were great hosts and gave us extra things we needed like ice for drinks and towels for our lacking excursion. The room was very clean and quiet. The breakfast and dinners were some of the best on our trip. It was nice on a rainy day to go down stairs to dine. The location was perfect for the park entrance-walking distance. Highly recommend staying at BB Villa Sumrac Plitvica.

This place was so lovely. The hosts could not do more for us. There was an issue with pur booking, but they were able to fix it up for us and make our stay as pleasant as possible. We had dinner there, which is cooked by the owners and was honestly divine. Well worth the money. The breakfast was nice and filled our bellies before our walk of the National Park. The hosts were able to give us some great tips on navigating the National Park with 4 kids as well. The location is fantastic and close to entrance 3, from which we caught the boat to P2 and had a lovely walk of the lakes. This entrance also has toilets, food and a souvenir shop. We will stay here again. Thanks for a lovely time.
Nothing.

The dinner and wine were amazing. Very comfortable bed.
Internet was not great. It was a little far from where the bus drops you and taxis were expensive.

Villa Sumrak is an exceptional property that stands out above all others in the Plitvice Lakes area, primarily due to the incredible hospitality of Matija and his family.
Staying on this end of the park offers significant advantages, allowing you to completely avoid the crowds and enjoy unique, breathtaking views before you even enter the gates. Matija provides invaluable insider tips upon arrival to help you maximize your visit. Additionally, the dining experience is truly spectacular; the meals rival those of a top-rated restaurant, and the wine selection is perfectly paired to complement each dish.
I cannot recommend Villa Sumrak highly enough for anyone looking for a perfect park getaway
