Nice garden for the summer months

Location, room (no comfort with a child), poor breakfast

Very cousy, feels like grandmas house , room was nice and big, good wifi, amazing food at the restaurant downstairs and great views of Lake Como

Didn’t have proper curtains so the light came in and breakfast was a little small

Friendly and nice staff. The size of the room was right and very clean, however without air-conditioning. The restaurant in the facility was really good.

Proximity of the main road was too loud, however parking was close.

- good localization - close to the most beautiful cities around the lake (Varenna), 5 mins driving to Carrefour express - restaurant placed downstair - very good food(recomended to eat there) - very nice owners, helpful answering with the smile on their face. - nice view from the room -

- hotel is located close to the street and rail station what causing noise at night. We were there with 2years daughter, so we had to sleep with closed windows. Advantage is that owner gave the fan.

location very good. lovely room with gorgeous view of the lake owners exceptional making our stay memorable. Lovely restaurant run by owners. Nothing was too much to ask. Lovely hosts.

The staff was very kind and the garden of the property was amazing. Also, we like very much the food from here (pizza and the white wine were delicious)

The view to the lake is superb, the room is perfect value for money, everything you need is available, this is a hotel with restaurant. I even liked the classic wooden antique style furniture combined with modern/trendy decorated walls. The owners are very friendly, you can ask almost anything you want. The breakfast is supplied as just enough what you need, instead of everything in the house and you leave half of the table untouched. Think about this, I think it's a way for our future, that's how we should do it. We also noticed in Italy that your plate is removed from the table when you're done, even when other people are still eating. Please be respectful, this is also a way of keeping things clean, this is a good habit, but might be different.

If there is anything negative about the room it might be the wifi reception, that is only good on a few locations, but it works. You will not miss any airco since night temperatures drop below 20 degrees and a bit windy. One other negative point to be noticed is the traffic nearby, make sure to bring your earplugs. (it's a must in my opinion for every location) During our stay we had enough parking space available, talk with the owners if you don't find a place directly.

Lake Como is a very beautiful location, but you need a car to get around if your base is Dorio.

The absolute worst hotel I've ever been to. Incredibly unfriendly and rude couple running this hotel. Parking space was promised but not available. Wifi was promised but not available. Room with a view was promised but not available. All with no help or assistance whatsoever from the owners. Had to pay for the entirety of 3 nights but left after the first night. We rather pay a second hotel at double the cost than staying there any longer.

A wonderful place by the Como lake. Lovely hosts. Great rooms and a good restaurant with a great selection.

Public transport is poor, You basically need a car.

Without carpet because it was so cold I were prefer a breakfast with vegetable than carbohydrate.

Marvelous staff, beautiful view on the lake and mountains from the balcony. Excellent breakfast - fresh bread, meet and cheese, croissants, coffee/tea, juice, yogurt, fruits. Very tasty pizza and home wine in the restaurant (located in the hotel). Good place to start your trip around the lake

Property is right next to the road ... traffic noise levels can be annoying at times, especially early in the mornings
