Loved Los Pinos cabins

Everything was better than expected. We came to CR for wildlife and hiking. There were many beautiful birds and coati right outside our cabin on the property. The cabins are quite secluded from each other and very private. We did not have a car rental but were easily able to make the short walk into town to the local grocery and coffee shop. The sidewalk extends from Los Pinos cabins nearly all the way to the Monteverde cloud forest reserve but there is a handy public bus that makes that trip several times daily. We were able to walk to the Curi Cancha Reserve and back. The staff are all just great and helped with transportation and local guides. I would come back to CR just to stay at Los Pinos for several days. Great memories.

Very nice serenity resort surrounded by nature and wildlife

Privacy, roomy, kitchen and beautiful resort.

The sheets and blanket had a stale old smell.

I rarely write reviews and all I have to say is RELAXING! Very friendly staff. Great central location between Monteverde Park and Santa Elena. Great value. I’m afraid to give it too much praise because I don’t want it to be booked up on our next trip.

Absolutely great! Warm welcom of Ann, big, cosy and private house just for our family-parents and 4 children-teenagers. We have got villa with dining room and small kitchen and 3 rooms each with shower and toilet, terrace was also big and surronded by nature! Absolutely reccomende👍😀

Superb

Ana at reception was wonderful. She was very welcoming and helped us with booking our tours. Even kept us informed via whatsapp. Hot shower was a blessing after activities. The balcony was lovely, and the hammock was quirky. Great for spotting the white nosed pizote! They were very flexible when we checked out. Bakery across the road was very handy. Treks around the hotel were great, and the viewing point was fantastic.

Cabin got quite cold in the evenings and mornings, but we did have plenty of blankets. Decor was dated but added to the charm.

We really enjoyed our stay-- great location, fun trail right on the property, and comfortable rooms.

Wonderful location and also really appreciated the nice trails right on the property.

The living area was smaller than expected-- it looks like it was a porch that was enclosed at some point. This made family time at the end of the day a little challenging. But it wasn't a big deal.

very relaxing stay surrounded by jungle and animals.

beautiful accommodation in the middle of the jungle yet close to town and mantas beach. outside our property we saw many macaw parrots and other jungle animals. breakfast were delicious to. highly recommended

beautiful place in the wood, very good experience

The resort is beautiful and the staff polite and helpfull. We were 6 people and we got a cabin with 3 bedrooms. The cobin was big, clean, nice and comfortable, each room with a private shower and bathroom, which we liked very much. We stayed only 1 night but in retrospect we should have stayed longer.

The cabins are in the wood, and if it rains, the noise on the roof is loud, even hours after the rain has stopped. It was a little hard to fall asleep with it

Wonderful. Would definitely choose to stay there again when we return to Monteverde.

Beautiful location. Much wildlife right outside your door. Walking paths throughout the property were very nice. Interior of cabin was spacious. Covered patio with hammocks, picnic table and a couch was like having a second living room.

Parking to some cabins is a little walk when it rained it was a bit inconvenient but just pack an umbrella or request a cabin with parking next to it.

We had a relaxing stay, which was perfect for a short stop in Monteverde.

The setting was in its own reserve right off the Main Street. it was a beautiful setting and felt like we were camping. We loved that it had 3 separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Everyone had their own bed which was nice with a family of teenagers!

Amazing Los Pinos cabins 😊

Beautiful location and the cabin was amazing as well as the grounds surrounding our cabin. The bed was comfortable and I was glad we had a kitchen with coffee maker. We enjoyed sitting out on porch and watching wildlife - also took some walks during our stay there. I highly recommend staying here!!!👍

Lovely Cabins in a Beautiful Forest

The staff at Los Pinos were incredibly friendly and were so happy to help in any way they could. The cabins are spaced well apart and the property is absolutely stunning. You can hear the wind blowing through the tall pines and birds chirping away in this peaceful retreat. You can easily walk to a small grocery, a few restaurants, a bakery and a souvenir shop from the cabins. The cabin itself was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the small kitchen was nice to have. The patio and area surrounding our cabin was beautifully maintained and we enjoyed sitting outside watching the sun rise while drinking fresh coffee and listening to the forest wake up. This hotel is a wonderful place to stay!!

We can't wait to return to this beautiful, calm place!

We loved this place. It is a beautiful quiet location but within walking distance to a great grocery store and some tasty restaurants. The cabin's are lovely and are well-equipped for cooking. They were spotless and the beds were comfortable. The walking paths are fabulous and my gardener husband was fascinated with the on-site garden. Staff are helpful and friendly. When we return to Monteverde, this would be the only place we want to stay!

Absolutely beautiful

The place is secluded and absolutely gorgeous. It is in the middle of a forest and there is space between each bungalow. The facility is really something else. Just amazing.

Quite a few steps up from the parking to the bungalow. Not terrible but not super convenient.

Short drive from the center of town, but far off the beaten path.

This place is so nice, they also have a private reserve where you can wander around and see wild life. The outdoor patio of our cabin was a great place to work from and relax after our day ended.

Loved it

Very spacious, located very close to the monteverde cloud forest, secluded and situated in the forest. It had its own terrace facing the forest and we saw several animals. The property has its own hiking trails which are neatly organised and maintained by the owners, as well as a panoramic view. The staff was kind and helpful. Plenty of parking spaces. The bed sheets and bathroom were very clean. The bathroom looked like it was recently renovated. Overall, a great place to stay.

The couch had some dirt and sand which was not cleaned and the kitchen hood was greasy. It was noisy due to the wind and trees around us but it is understandable since it is in the forest and we didn't mind.

good location and good road leading to the place. around the place you can find a nice coffee place for workshop Ecological Sanctuary ( book via airbnb). rather clean place

a bit outdated decorations and furniture ( thought clean) it is in the forest but due to wind it was very noisy during the night people at the reception are not very friendly

Superb

They have really nice trails in their complex. The room was clean, the kitchen was equipped, the sitting area outside the room was nice.

The room was cold (early Oct), after we requested they brought us an electrical heater.
