A wonderful stay with breathtaking views! 🌊
Vilamona is a beautiful place, exceptionally clean, with stunning views over the sea and a spacious, very comfortable room.
The owner is a truly wonderful lady who goes above and beyond to make sure her guests have a lovely stay. Her kindness and hospitality made the experience even more special.
Breakfast overlooking the ocean was a real pleasure, and after having dinner at the restaurant for five nights, I can honestly say I will miss the delicious food!
A little practical tip for future guests: I would recommend having a car, as it makes exploring the beautiful Amalfi Coast much easier. I travelled by SITA bus to Amalfi and then took ferries to neighbouring towns and islands. The bus stop is approximately 1 km away, uphill from the property, so it is worth considering if you have mobility difficulties or prefer to avoid uphill walks. Personally, I enjoyed the walk, and the owner kindly offered to give me a lift whenever she could, which was incredibly thoughtful. Of course, during the busy high season, this may not always be possible.
There are also lovely hiking opportunities nearby for those who enjoy exploring on foot.
I highly recommend Vilamona for its peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views, delicious food and, above all, the warmth and generosity of its owner. A special place that made my stay on the Amalfi Coast even more memorable! ❤️

We liked the location. It was quiet away from the business of Amalfi. We enjoyed the hosts, wonderful family who helped us navigate the area and provided a great breakfast. Hotel restaurant was also excellent. We had a car but we used bus to get to Amalfi. 10 min walk up stairs to bus stop, then 20 min ride to Amalfi. We enjoyed visiting town of Agerola about 10 min drive which is the start of Path of Gods. If we are lucky enough to come back to the Amalfi coast we would 100% stay here.
