The host was surprised when we drove up. Apparantly had not seen messages or been notified by VRBO of our impending arrival. The place was very clean, the air conditioning in the bedrooms was quite effective and kitchen oven and cooker all work fine. The downsides were: a broken dishwasher, no clothes dryer (but outside lines worked fairly well), and lighting in the kitchen was not great. Can't see the countertops in the evening when preparing meals. The neighbourhood is very quiet and we spent hours on the outside deck enjoying the evenings.

Air conditioning at night and a washer was an added bonus! It was central location for beach, grocery stores and a nice walkable neighborhood. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed it very much. Our kids and ourselves loved the great pool and the relaxing and peaceful athmosphere in the garden . The apartment was gorgeous: spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed. It is conveniently located in the nice, quiet neigbourhood of Atlantic Shores, only a few minutes walking distance to the surf spot where both adults and kids can surf. Anna was a great host. She is very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. We highly recommend this property. Thanks Anna for a perfect vacation!

The outdoor space was fabulous and having pool access was a bonus! Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was perfect. The kitchen had enough counter space for multiple people to help with meal prep. The location was great, close to Oistins and Enterprise Beach. Many spots nearby to watch the sunset. Anna responded quickly to communications, and was helpful in securing a car and the necessary PCR tests to return home. She was very open to feedback regarding a few minor blips with kitchen appliances.

We had a pleasant stay at Atlantic shores and would definitely stay there again. We loved the great location, the quiet neighborhood and the pool.

We have just spent the last 2 weeks in Daydreams. Anna was very hospitable and ensured we knew how everything worked, where to buy food & even drove us to the Oistins fish fry for our dinner. The area is very safe and it is such a great location. Definitely hire a car. We rented one from Anna which was perfect and cheaper than airport. Only thing is that you need to buy a drivers permit when you arrive from the authority in Bridgetown. The apartment was very clean on arrival & perfect space for 2 adults & 2 teenagers. We enjoyed the pool area, balconies & living space. As with most self catering, you’ll need to buy all the essentials but there were toilet rolls & washing up cloth/liquid on arrival. As we were staying 2 weeks, the only additions we would have liked was a working dishwasher. Also a clothes airer for the balcony or even better a washing line would have been perfect. Thank you Anna for a lovely holiday & definitely a better choice than a hotel - you really feel like your’e soaking up the real Barbados by staying with the locals. We’ll be back!

The property is very well kept. Its clean and welcoming. It definitely a hike to the beach, but I really enjoyed the walk. We had a rental so, getting around was not difficult. Plus, the neighborhood is beautiful so walking is a plus, you get to see all the beautiful flowers along the way.

All windows and doors had additional security and each door had multiple locking mechanisms so we didn’t think twice about the safety of our apartment while we were staying in or going out. The neighborhood surrounding the home is also nice and quiet, and only a few minutes walk from our favorite Freights Bay. The pool area sets this rental apart from all others! The pool is in a beautiful outdoor area and has a large patio surrounding with lounging chairs. Some days we spent on the beach and some days we just stayed by the pool all day! Direct access from the room’s balcony down to the pool which was awesome. We rented a car from Anna for a reasonable price for one day so we could explore more of the island. Anna was an awesome host! Extremely friendly, welcoming, accommodating, and knowledgeable. This apartment has everything we wanted plus more. I highly recommend booking with Anna, and we plan on returning with the rest of our family!

We returned Friday back to Canada after a 10 days stay in Daydreams our stay was amazing. Upon arrival, Anna daughter met us and was extremely welcoming after the taxi driver drove us around the property 3 times because he could not find the house which was so easy to find. She showed us around the house, explained everything to us, and provided an extra cot because there were 10 of us including 2 kids. Anna's daughter drove us around and took us grocery shopping and help us with our groceries. After we met Anna, she explained she was there to help us with anything we needed and offer to rent her car to us if we were interested. We were amazed by the size of the pool which we had private use of through-out our stay especially for some of our first time travellers and they spent lots of time swimming. The garden area was so peaceful, beautiful and private with chairs, sun loungers and, sponges for our use. We had accessed to the pool from the back balcony down steps and out the bedroom doors on the ground floor. The neighbourhood is extremely beautiful with lots of bougainvillea flowers everywhere you look, and a 2 minute walk towards the back of the house where you can see the ocean. A beautiful place to stay approximately 20 minute walk to oistins and my sons felt very safe walking around the area. This location was fantastic for us and I would highly recommend staying there and it would be my first choice when returning. We are slowly becoming frequent visitor to the island and had previously stayed in other areas in Barbados, but Atlantic Shores has stolen our heart. My family can't wait for another trip to the Island where they can go surfing and go to all the places they found the night before they left for back home. Our stay was perfect, and my sons and I have formed a lasting friendship with your family there over in Barbados. Where everything you would need for a home away from home would be. The apartment was as described. It was very peaceful and located in a perfect spot for surfing at either South Point or Freights. Our son decided to join us a few days before we traveled to Barbados and Ana was most accommodating with amending our booking, thank you. New sun loungers arrived early in our stay which was great. We used the pool most days and saw the monkeys a few times.

We found the Daydreams apartment very spacious, quiet, clean and convenient. Everything you would want on vacation. And the big pool was a great added plus! Anna is a lovely, gracious and accommodating hostess. We will be back. Thank you so much!

We stayed for 2 weeks at the beginning of January. The accommodations were clean and the location was great! My husband is a surfer and he was within minutes to south point and freights for his morning surf sessions. The pool in the backyard (& family of green monkeys!) was thoroughly enjoyed by our 3 year old daughter. Would highly recommend for surfers/families.

Over all everything was great !!!. The place was well kept and eye catching from the review of photos before booking the property . Once arrive we were greeted and did a walk through . This property make me feel like i was in my own home . The pool area was mesmerizing we had a great time ! Thank you !

We returned Friday back to the UK after a 3 week stay in Daydreams. Upon arrival, Anna (owner whom lives downstairs) was extremely welcoming (she had even made ice in the freezer ready for us). She explained everything, provided a play cot with clean sheets and a highchair for our 15m old and explained she was there to help is with any trips or anything we needed. We were taken aback by the size of the pool (which we had private use of throughout our stay) the garden was so peaceful and private with a section of sun loungers, chairs and sponges for our use. We accessed the pool from the back balcony down metal steps. We were delighted with the two balconies the apartment had (we kept the front one locked when not sat out there as it was dangerous for our child). The neighbourhood is extremely tranquil with the occasional dog walker and runner. Approximately 20 minute walk to oistins. This location was fantastic for us and i would highly recommend and it would be my first choice when returning. Im a frequent visitor to the island and previously lived on the West Coast, but Atlantic Shores has stolen my heart. Everything you would need for a home away from home. Thankyou Anna!

Anna was very friendly and accommodating and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Nice 2 bed, 2 bath, full kitchen, living area and patios on Front and Back! Great WIFI! Very quiet & SAFE neighbourhood with partial Ocean view off the back patio while watching what had to be 10 Green Monkeys hanging around an adjacent vacant lot. Short walk to Surf beach and 2 minute drive to Miami Beach and “Gotta Go” Cafe Luna. 5 minute drive to Oistins Fish Fry which is a must Friday nights! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND, Great value!!!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this property. With two little ones (aged 4 and 6) the pool was an excellent feature. The apartment is spacious and easily handled all of us. If you like to surf you can easily walk to either Freight's Bay or South Point within 5 minutes. If you plan on going to Miami I would suggest you rent a car as the walk would take around 20 minutes. The only thing that was a little frustrating was that no "basics" such as cleaning detergent, salt, pepper, paper towels, napkins, etc are provided. I would gladly have paid a little extra per night to have these included in our stay just for the mere convenience. Otherwise it is a great property and would stay here again.

Definitely need a car to access anything from this condo...even the beach. Town is a hike and the bus stop is a distance from the house as well. I was unable to get a beep taxi online, and without my Neighours to help out I would have been pretty stranded. Many supplies were needed and no restaurants close by, so lots of cooking was necessary. I also had no hot water the entire two weeks of my stay.

We came to Barbados for our first time and this place was perfect for us. Great location, right next to freights bay which was convenient because we loved surfing there. Also next to Cafe Luna and Miami Beach. The inside of the airbnb was nice and Anna took good care of us.

Absolutely loved our apartment! Was spacious and clean! Especially enjoyed having coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night out on the balcony! Everyone from the owner Anna to our cleaning lady Odessa was fabulous ❤️I highly recommend this property! And Anna does rent vehicles if you decide the walk to the beach is too much!!
