Great location in downtown Whitefish as a base for our backpacking trip in Glacier National Park.

Close enough to Am track to easily walk. Beautifully appointed room and en-suite. Super comfy bed! Good parking.

Location was great.
Very small room for four people. Pull out sofa block's bathroom door. It was raining so weren't able to enjoy the patios. No breakfast for the day we stayed.

Location to downtown Whitefish could not have been better.

The property was in a great location for us to look around the town. It was charming, comfortable and clean for our stay… perfect for the four of us having only two rooms that suited us well.
One room had a double bed the other had a queen size… would be great if both rooms had queen beds.
The property said that breakfast was included but on the day we were there the cafe wasn’t open so there was some confusion about that.

Location
Cafe was closed, difficult to find entrance, no staff on-site. The bathroom did not have tissues and lacked things like drinking water. No guidance on where to dine, getting an uber, things to do around town.

You can’t beat the location, and the inn is charming. We prefer boutique hotels to traditional bed & breakfasts, and the Farmhouse Inn is a nice combo of both. All of the following work well for us, yet you should know and be prepared for the these things, which aren’t for everyone: there is no lobby or staff onsite; you’ll get a code to access exterior and interior doors; there is no daily housekeeping. Parking is free and right out back. The food at the restaurant is really good!
The restaurant is not open on Sundays or Mondays, so plan ahead. There are plenty of good breakfast options in Whitefish. There are a few hooks on the wall but no closet (in Room 2), so pack so you can live out of your suitcase or use the bench in the room to store your clothes on.

Adorable! Clean, comfortable and stress free

The room was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The location was perfect. I was bummed the cafe was closed for renovation, but Swift Creek was delicious!
Some lights, even just small solar powered walkway lights out back would be great! It was kinda hard stumbling around back there when I was walking back from dinner downtown. A slightly bigger mini fridge would have also been helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse Inn. Very clean, very quiet. Excellent location.

Location is perfect, walking distance to almost everything you will need in whitefish, particularly restaurants after a hiking day. The neighborhood is nice and the house has “personality”.
The room has good quality towels, a pair of extra towels, and good bed sheets. The room also has smart TV, even a super tinny fridge, good hair dryer, USB outlet, coffee machine (in the bathroom - I would have put it somewhere else).
Our room was number 2, the smallest one. It is super small. 3 nights was okay, more than that would be too much because there’s no housekeeping, no extra space for anything, few hooks. I had the feeling we were camping in a room.
The mattress is thin and soft. If you have spine or lower back issues, it’ll be uncomfortable. We knew the bed would be smaller than a queen size. So, I can’t complain about that.
They are not serving breakfast. Their website has a huge appeal on their organic, fresh, homemade food… But we got a “I’m-so-sorry-but-we-are-not-serving-breakfast” text 24h before arrival. The option was another place with same food style, maybe 3min walking distance. I still felt deceived. I decided to read previous reviews on Booking.com and it didn’t seem to be something that had just happened. I wish we had had the option to cancel our booking.
We used the back door all the time. We didn’t have access to any other part of the house besides the stair to both rooms. The other room has no guests. So we didn’t have problems with noise. The doors are one in front of the other.

Small well appointed room in a quiet location close to resturants, galleries and shops. Cafe was closed for remodeling but owner sent us to great little resturant less than a block away and covered the bill. Whitefish is a fun, quaint town in which to enjoy a few days relaxation after camping and hiking in the National Park.
Could have used another small chair in room but not a big deal.

Their kitchen was closed so we were able to go to a highly recommended local spot for breakfast which was perfect and all we had to do was walk up the street! We also had coffees in the room and some great cookies/snacks. Super comfortable room in every way and cozy. We loved our stay!

Didn’t clean room at all the whole time. No fresh towels or shampoo etc. No breakfast as the kitchen was closed. Got a gift card to use at a restaurant down street and it was closed part of the time. No place to sit beside room. No acces to front of house.

The room was in a great location with great windows overlooking the street. I did wish for blackout curtains. It was clean and cozy and had most of what we needed. I did wish there were more hangars and hanging space.
I thought there was going to be breakfast on site and there was not which was very disappointing. However they did provide a gift card for a nearby restaurant that was great. Also I did not like that there was noone to greet us or talk to us at anytime during our stay.

The location was good.
The room was advertised to sleep 4. It was so small 2 could barely fit. We had our son with us and we were cramped. The room has a sleeper sofa where purportedly the other 2 people would sleep but if you pulled it out it blocked the door to the bathroom. The owner texted us the day of arrival to say the kitchen was being “refreshed” which meant not working so we had a bed and no breakfast. He offered a cafe down the street but it was so crowded it had over an hour wait. Our options for coffee were to make the coffee in the room- the one cup Keurig coffee station was literally next to the toilet. The other option was to wait an hour at the cafe for a cup of coffee. The owner sent his apologies…. we paid for 2 nights at $500 a night. w stayed in larger rooms for less money in Manhattan- and they had coffee available.

As advertised. Great location. Good bathroom.
Quaint.
Small. Few power outlets.

No communication about how to get into the room. No communication that breakfast would not be at the Inn. Also, I feel the room is no way large enough for 4 people and we could not use the tub because the tub plug did not work.

Location was excellent within a block to town, decor was charming, room comfortable with large bathroom. Did not remember breakfast was included and that was delicious!
Price seemed steep but enjoyed our stay

Very conveniently located. Breakfast was great! We tried something different every day and loved everything! The room was extremely comfortable.
The only “complaint” I would have is the description needs to be updated. We got no hand made spa basket and no fresh baked goodies basket.

Very nice people and cozy room! I got up early to hike each day and missed the breakfast, looking forward to that on my next visit.
