This chalet accommodates 2-6 guests with a master suite with a king bed, a second bedroom with 2 queen beds, 2 full baths, a well-equipped kitchen, a generous dining room table, and an outdoor deck with a gas BBQ. Efficient heating and air conditioning, customizable for each room, cozy gas fireplace, spacious living room, and heated bathroom tile floors provide comfort in any season. Starlink WIFI, and cable TV are available.
This chalet is one of three similar homes nestled on the mountainside overlooking the Merced River Canyon in Yosemite West. Each home provides secluded privacy, perfect for a family. Reserve all three for a larger reunion of friends and family. All Alpenglow Retreat Chalets book up quickly, and groups are encouraged to reserve well in advance. There are 2 parking spots for standard size vehicles.

This spacious home is wonderful! My family of 4 chose to stay in this home over the lodges in Yosemite because we were hoping for more space and most importantly a washer and dryer--it did not disappoint. The home is high on the mountain side above Yosemite Valley and provides extras that lodges and hotels don't. The bedrooms are large with comfy beds, the bathrooms are large with great showers and tubs, the kitchen and dining area are large and well stocked, and the balcony provides a great area for relaxing. The host is quick to respond and provides important information about Yosemite and the surrounding areas with recommendations for markets and restaurants. I definitely recommend this home!

Loved the location inside the park gates. Very comfortable! The heated tiles in the bathroom floors were a nice surprise! Would definitely recommend Alpenglow 1!

An amazing home nestled in the mountains and forests of Yosemite. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Everything was clean and spotless. We could easily have stayed longer.

This house was perfectly located for Yosemite Valley as it is within the park which means you avoid the long queues into the park everyday. Otherwise, the house was modern, clean and smart, and had everything required for a family stay.
