Lazy Daze has it all! This charming three bedroom, two bathroom cottage has been lovingly decorated to create an atmosphere of relaxation and fun. Bright and airy, the inside of this home is as comfortable and inviting as the outside. The split master makes the floor plan perfect for families and friends alike. The onsite laundry makes longer stays comfortable as well. The outdoor space is an unexpected gem. There are multiple gathering areas, each with it’s own appeal. The back patio overlooks the lush lawn and more seating beyond. There is a gazebo tent with shaded seating toward the edge of the yard. This location affords views of the wet weather creek below and is the perfect spot to keep an eye on dinner if you want to try out the stone pizza oven. Follow the steps to the banks of the creek and enjoy the sounds of nature from the benches steps from the water. If you can tear yourself away from the charms of this home, there is plenty to occupy your time and attention nearby. Only a 5 minute drive to the public boat ramp and 10 minutes from river tubing & Whitewater Amphitheater, where some of the best musicians play in an unforgettable venue. Wimberley, home of the Blue Hole, Jacob’s Well, Zip Lining, Wineries, Breweries, and more is only 15 minutes away. The nightlife of Greune Hall and area shopping is only a 20 minute drive. Other popular day trip destinations include: • Schlitterbahn – 30 minutes • San Marcos – 30 minutes • Luckenbach – 45 minutes • San Antontio (Sea World, Fiesta Texas, the RiverWalk & Alamo) – 1 hour and 10 minutes With all this and more, you may want to plan for an extra day, just to be…Lazy. **The health and safety of our guests is paramount. Had a little trouble getting in originally. Couldn’t access email to get the entry code. Had to Drive a few minutes down the road to get phone service. But the house was clean. It was in a quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay there again!

My wife and I took 3 of our kids to a church retreat and wanted to stay somewhere quiet and peaceful for the weekend. We found it here! We’ve used VRBO a few times in the past and sometimes the pictures are better than the property. NOT THE CASE HERE! It was everything advertised in the photos and more! The house was very clean, perfectly spacious and comfortable. The king bed was super comfortable and my wife got the best night’s sleep she’s had in a while.
The backyard is super cool! Our family enjoyed the fire pit and had fun making s’mores. The backyard lighting created the perfect ambiance. We also enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife wondering in and out of the property. We didn’t use the outdoor brick pizza oven but we will make sure to the next stay.
We loved our stay and will absolutely reserve this property again in the future!

Great location! Kids loved the big back yard and hiking nearby. The beds were very comfortable and the house was just the right size for a family of 4.

We came to float the River for my birthday and we had an amazing time. It’s perfectly located within 10 minutes of the river, in a nice quiet area! The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, down to laundry detergent! We could not get ahold of anyone for the questions we had, but overall it was a wonderful, beautiful stay.

Direction to access lock are inaccurate. We found that the front door deadbolt was locked and luckily found a separate key lock box to enable one to unlock the dead bolt. Then the key pad for the door, does work, however the door handle only works when one turns in the upward position. And finally, if one were to need help for any reason before gaining entry, there is little to no cell service in the area to call for help.

This property is great. The house was perfect for 6 guests, and is bigger than the pictures make it look. It was spotless. Whomever cleans the house does an incredible job. A couple of items for improvement though. The number of forms to sign and rules to follow made us feel unwelcome. It would have been much less of a hassle to stay in a hotel. In addition, we counted !6! plug in Air fresheners. At least one in each room. The scent was so strong we had to open the windows in 20 degree weather. We both ended up with pounding headaches after each night. The house doesn't have any funny smells to begin with, so I'm unsure why so many were plugged in. Also, the weather was cold outside and the heater would not warm the house above 70 at the thermostat. It was significantly colder in other rooms of the house.

This house is a fantastic location. It met all our needs. We enjoyed the outside areas. However…all the beds are horrible! Each bed had its quirk. The master bed was lumpy and you rolled into a hole. The 2nd bed was so hard it literally hurt our bodies. The back bedroom was not as bad but still not good! Needless to say we didn’t get much sleep. Also it would have been nice to have regular coffee available since we arrived late after all the stores were closed.
I would recommend this house if they would upgrade the beds.

Enjoyed sitting out on the patio, house was as advertised. Don’t like the management company with incredibly strict policies, and additional rental agreements. Not giving the address until after signing rental agreement that included background check.

Had a great time despite no river water! Still could sit outside and enjoy the view. The house is updated and very clean. Check in was easy. Close to many sites. Cell service iffy, but WiFi great.

The back yard was the perfect wind down spot! The location between Wimberley and Fredericksburg was spot on. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our weekend. Kitchen is fully stocked! Enjoyed seeing the deer wander around!

Fridge issue?
My friends and I had a great time this weekend. The home was clean and the backyard was beautiful. There was WiFi and a smart tv for entertainment. We found board games and were able to drive a short distance to cool areas the town had to offer. The only issue I ran into was the fridge didn’t get cold the first night. We made sure it was shut properly and even tried to find a manual. After attempting to reach out via text to the owner and never hearing back, we had to then try to reset the fridge in our own. This was after inconveniently putting all of ours groceries in coolers and having to buy more ice to do so. The next morning, we tried again to reset the fridge and after a couple hours, the fridge was cooler. Our reset worked. We then had to restock the fridge again. Although this was very inconvenient, my friends and I enjoyed our time together and would come back as long as the owner check out their appliances to make sure they work properly.

Good Cottage Stay
This cottage in the woods was a good weekend getaway,
it was a little upsetting to not be able to use the pizza oven outback because there was nothing provided for it and the wasp situation was little crazy but overall we had a good weekend.

The house is very clean with plenty of supplies. The extra is the back yard with lights which we enjoyed during our stay. The rooms are spacious with very nice decoration and furniture. We all loved this place!

Cute little house in Canyon Lake
Was a lively property, very clean, and perfect for the girls weekend. Easy to find and close to Plooky’s where we had dinner the last night. Quick drive to Wimberly and San Marcos. Beds were comfortable and loved the creek and all the amenities provided like the TVs in every room.

Lazy Daze was exceptional
We had such a great time at Lazy Daze. The house was spotless and so adorable. It had everything we needed. We spent Christmas there and it was awesome to pull up and see Christmas lights and decor outside. The house was warm and inviting and was also decorated for Christmas and was so awesome to just put all our Christmas gifts under the tree. I would 100% recommend staying at Lazy Daze.
