I couldn't have asked to stay at a more perfect place than Villa Becir. My villa felt like home the moment I walked into it and it exceeded my expectation in every way possible, from cleanliness, accessibility, location, amenities, comfort, safety, and more. The property managers were readily accessible and personally helpful and hands on in any way needed. I enjoyed every second of being spoiled here. I arrived late in the night and my Croatian Family had much needed and appreciated local wine and fruit waiting for me! I will most definitely be back and can't wait to share this experience with my family.

Beautiful place with a wonderful view and a few steps down to the incredibly clear water. The villa was very clean and functional, everything worked as it should. We didn't think we would use the jacuzzi but as we spent a lot of time swimming it was great to have a short massage in the evening. The restaurants nearby had decent food but the barbeque also came to good use. Altogether we spent a lovely week there and we will definitely be back!

Villa Becir is the perfect place to stay if you want to completely relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. You are steps from crystal clear water we visited with our 3 children and had a wonderful time. The beach house at Molunat is in a simply stunning location with direct access to the sea and amazing views. It is on the edge of the village in a private and peaceful position. The accommodation is great, in particular the many different outdoor areas. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to unwind or as base to explore the Dubrovnik area.

Many happy hours were spent swimming from the house- such a lovely experience! Molunat is a wonderful village- so quiet and peaceful. We also went to Cavtat and took a boat to Dubrovnik and the three islands. Great trips in a beautiful country. Thank you for a memorable holiday.

We had a wonderful week in Molunat in the Becir beach house. The house is well equipped and suits well for 6-8 people. The outside lounge area is fantastic for having any meal of the day with 180 degree view of the blue sea. Immediately outside and below the house you can dive into the sea from the cliffs. There is a bathing ladder but it is not suitable for kids and people with disabilities. A few hundred meters from the house there is a sand beach, though. Molunat is a quiet village only some 30 minutes from the airport. It doesn't take long to drive to beautiful Cavtat or Dubrovnik. The owners of the house are very kind and responds quickly to your questions by e.g. SMS, email, phone or Viber.

We spent most of our stay at the villa enjoying the beautiful view and making full use of the private access to the sea. The property itself is well equipped, clean and well decorated. There is a handy shop within walking distance as well as a few bars and a restaurant which had just opened for the season during our visit. The owners were most helpful and hospitable. We had a very happy and memorable holiday in this wonderful little spot.

It was so lovely to meet your Mum and her friend today- such lovely ladies. I must mention the fantastic chocolate pancakes though, they were delicious, we have saved a few to have after our dinner tonight. Please say a massive thank you to your mum, they were a lovely surprise, as was the gorgeous red wine. We are moving onto Perast so shall enjoy the wine there. Absolutely stunning villa in lovely quiet village location away from everyday hustle and bustle. We would love to return next year. The villa itself is beautiful and cosy and spotless. It would be hard to beat the location.... literally on the beach, great for snorkeling and swimming. The owners were so nice and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend and as said above would love to return.

We stayed at Antonias house in June 2015 and really enjoyed the house and location. We were 6 adults and a 1,5 year-old, so it was perfect with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen was small, but well equipped and there was AC in every room. There where sun chairs and you could get into the sea with a ladder. The small village Molunat was nice with a couple of restaurants, a super market (5 minute walk away) and two small beaches. Also close to the airport and possible to visit Dubrovnik, Montenegro and just enjoy the amazing view when driving around. The only negative thing was mosquitoes in the evening/night, but we bought a mosquito spray and had dinner outside anyway. Everything worked out well with the booking, payment etc. Antonia and her family are very friendly and helped us with different things during the stay.

I had been looking at this house for a few years and only this summer did we get a chance to book it at a time convenient to us. It lived up to our expectations - fantastic location and brilliant swimming in the calm sea. It is within walking distance to a good supermarket, 2 restaurants and cafes. So, our children (20 & 15) were not bored. We also enjoyed various easy day trips to Dubrovnik, Cavat (really wonderful and underrated but so close),Ston and Montenegro. Unfortunately, the situation of the house was so nice that we didn't explore more. I would definitely recommend a morning swim to the islands (in the photo) and the restaurants that Antonia suggests - all good. The house isn't pristine - coffee grounds left in the machine, dirty dishes (dishwasher isn't good), dirty barbecue etc but, it is well equipped and comfortable. I would definitely recommend the house to friends as, we had an enjoyable holiday and Antonia was very helpful and her mother, very kind.

The Beach House, Molunat We keep coming back to this fabulous little villa on a stunningly beautiful bay on the southern tip of Croatia. The swimming - straight from the garden - is wonderful, and the location is brilliant, both for day trips to Dubrovnik, Cavtat and the Bay of Kotor, and for an easy drive from the airport. There are a couple of restaurants and a small supermarket within walking distance, and if you’re up early enough, you can buy fresh fish down at the harbour to put on the barbecue. If you don't mind a drive, there are more excellent restaurants in the Konavle area, including one at a picturesque watermill where the trout are caught straight from the stream. Antonia and her family could not be more charming and helpful, and will fix up car hire, etc. It truly is paradise on earth. Wendy and Chris Marshall, Leicestershire, UK.

The photos don't do this lovely villa justice. It's well laid out and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. And the location - particularly THAT view - is just stunning. The village of Molunat is a pretty working village and well situated for trips to Dubrovnik, Cavtat, Montenegro and the beautiful valley around Ljuta. A real find.

Just have come back from a relaxing week in Beach House Becir. We were two elderly couples taking a brake from our busy lives in a stunning environment of Molunat. House was just like it is presented in Antonia's pictures, nothing is exaggerated. Clean and well equipped with air conditioning. The situation of the house is beautiful and peaceful, facing to the bay of Molunat, yet near restaurants and the small shop. On the sun deck you can bathe in the sun from early morning to almost sunset and take a dip into the crystal clear, turqoise Adriatic Sea. The weather was fine considering it was the last week of September. Lot of sunshine, daytime temperatures 25-28 celcius, sea was very warm, too. When arranging the trip I was in constant contact with Antonia and she answered my emails in a very prompt manner. And when we met in Cavtat while there, she matched the picture I got from our conversations - nice and beautiful and an honest young lady. If peace and relaxation is what you want from your holiday, I highly recommend this place. I don't know how bustling the village is in high season, but now that it was the last week of this season, Molunat was very peaceful and we sure got what we awaited from our vacation! All in all, Croatia is a stunning country with the flora, the sea, the mountains and the curvy roads. People are very nice and modest. Service is outstanding, yet not pushy, which appeals to our Nordic caracter. Thank you Antonia and thank your family! I'm sure we will return soon! - Raija-

We returned to The Beach House this summer for another wonderful week. The location is perfect - Molunat is a lovely, unspoilt village on a picturesque little bay south of Dubrovnik, but within easy driving distance of the lively port of Cavtat, Dubrovnik itself, and the fantastic Bay of Kotor in nearby Montenegro. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance of the house, and a small shop in the village for basic provisions. Cavtat is bustling with good restaurants, and there are two charming country restaurants (one is a working watermill) situated in a very pretty riverside setting in nearby Gruda, about 20 minutes' drive from Molunat. The house is great, with its own seafront swimming and sunbathing areas, and very well-equipped. The sea was clean and warm (25 degrees at the end of August), and it is so lovely being able to step out on to the pretty, bougainvillea-laden terrace and immediately down to the water's edge. The owners of the Beach House - Kate Becir and her family, especially daughter Antonia and son-in-law Mario - could not be more kind and helpful, assisting with car and boat hire, and generally making sure that their visitors are comfortable. We could not recommend this house more highly - it is the perfect venue for a most enjoyable holiday. We hope to return again next year.

This house is in a beautiful bay right on the water. The ability to just walk out your door and sit on the lounges or swim makes this so relaxing. The water is crystal clear and so safe. We have 2 girls and they loved paddling out in their little blow up boat and jumping off into the water. We enjoyed many cappuccinos and meals at the few local restaurants. We then went to sleep to the sound of the water lapping against the rocks. The house is great and the ability to go to Bosnia and Montenegro was a real bonus for us. We loved it.

We spent for the second time a wonderful week in this lovely peaceful beach house. It is beautifully located on the border of the sea with a splendid view. The house is well equipped and very clean. There is air-conditioning in each room, which is very useful regarding the climate over there. The owners are very kind and helpful. There is a lot to see in the neighbourhood or one can spend a beautiful day in and around the beach house. There are several good restaurants nearby. This is really a must for everyone who wants to visit the region of Dubrovnik.

This was our first time in Croatia so all new experiences! Antonia and her family did everything possible to make our stay a pleasure, starting with meeting us at the airport and making sure we found the house easily. The house is delightful, with direct access to a private beach (rocky) with easy access into the crystal clear sea. Not suitable for very small children without supervision but great for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. The house is located on a bay so the sea is calm unless the winds are very high. We had a couple of windy days but swam perfectly happily, even when more exposed parts of the coast were far too choppy to go in. There are gently sloping sandy beaches at either end of the bay (2 minute walk) if you have very small kids. The kitchen is quite small but fully equipped and we managed to cook full meals for 4 adults. The 2 main bedrooms have a view of the sea and islands. Molunat is a quiet and very pretty village. A fair proportion of the houses are appartments/ small pensions but it doesn't have the feel of being a holiday camp - although perhaps later in the season (July/August) it is a lot busier with tourists. There are three bars (quiet, no loud music) and two small restaurants in the village, as well as a general store and a stand selling local vegitables. We ate at one restaurant, Monika, which was very good but beware the fish is expensive (but very fresh - out of the water that day). The other restaurant was just opening as we left. Gruda, the local town (also very small) is a 15 minute drive and has 2 medium sized supermarkets, a fish-monger, butcher, baker, bank/ATM, post office, excellent restaurant etc. Gruda is a working town for the local agricultural community. The surrounding countryside is very beautiful, combining rocky cliffs and headlands, farming in the river valley with Mediterranean garrigue on the high land. There are a few well-signposted walks a short drive away, and we spent a couple of happy afternoons walking from the village, exploring the very quiet local backroads and tracks. Easy to get to Dubrovnik (driving or by boat via Cavtat) also Kotor (Montenegro) - another historic centre. Don't miss the nearby watermill restaurant Vinica Monkovic. Mario, the co-owner, also offers wine tasting from his family's vinyard, and boat hire in Cavtat bay, as well as car hire (very much the easy option and good value). Very highly recommended!
