Spacious, comfortable house. Bedrooms on all three floors which worked perfectly for our group. Location was great, two blocks from the ocean, and marshes behind the house. Good central spot to explore Southern Maine.

4 couples went up to do some Christmas shopping. The house was plenty big enough to accommodate us all. The owner was very responsive. WiFi was down and he came and fixed it next day.
Would definitely rent again.

Check-in was easy, with no problems. The home was exactly as pictured. A wonderful home with all the amenities and comforts a large group of family members, or friends would need.
The rooms are well sized with terrific private bathrooms for most of the bedrooms. I found the kitchen to be well stocked and the views from any of the floors, (there is 3) were magnificent. The home is truly a remarkable and affordable gem.
Besides great accommodations with a terrific location, I'd like to to give a Hugh, "Shout out," to Kate Landry, owner of Pine Point Grill. She not only accommodated all 14 of us with a fantastic meal, she went out of her way to assist us with a parking solution, which she did not have to do. I can't thank her enough and encourage everyone in the area to stop in and enjoy her hospitality, great food and amazing staff, you will be happy you did. You can tell her, Mel and Teri "sent you," she would enjoy this, as it reinforces good deeds are appreciated and not forgotten.
On a minor note, there will always be items you can find fault with or pick at. I personally look at the big picture and believe your in for a great stay with a great host, in a wonderful home, surrounded by some great people and good food. Enjoy!

Myself, husband and 5 other family members booked a trip to Maine and stayed here the second weekend of November. My grandma is having a lot of health issues and has always had a trip to Maine on her bucket list so we planned this trip on a whim. The house itself is beautiful. We thought the house was clean and in a great location. Absolutely gorgeous views that I cannot imagine what would look like in the summer time or even in the fall. We felt we were pretty close to a lot of things even though most places closest to the house were already closed for the winter. The absolute only issue we had with the house was that we were unable to get any of the TVs upstairs to connect to Wi-Fi to be able to watch them. I messaged the property manager who said he could call the internet provider but never heard from him again during our stay. Not sure what happened but it wasn’t ideal for us unfortunately. Oh, just an FYI- the first floor bathroom is not an en-suite. The listing doesn’t specify but we just assumed it would be and it wasn’t. It made my grandma’s frequent bathroom visits a little harder as she couldn’t walk much. (We booked the house specifically for the bedroom layout- having a bedroom on the first floor for her as she can’t climb steps.) But truly, overall, this house was wonderful and I still give it 5 stars. If we ever venture back to Maine again, I would stay in this house for sure.

We hosted our whole family for Thanksgiving at this rental. Well appointed and plenty of room. Will be back!

Amazing! We would come back, without a doubt. Love all the bathrooms attached to the rooms. Hard time adjusting the heat, would get really hot in some rooms. But that was nothing. Open floor plan was great, so much seating at the island and table. Next time coming back in the spring or early summer. Thank you for making out Trip fantastic

House is super spacious! Beds were very comfortable, views were beautiful.
It seemed a little like the end of the busy season had caught up with the house. Would have preferred there not been a collection of items from previous guests, I recognize many probably welcome having some extra coffee or spices etc but I am a little to OCD to use an opened box of tea bags or can or bag of sugar. Draws and cabinets need a thorough cleaning. Remove the extra stuff from closets and drawers in the bedrooms.
Was helpful to have washed and dryer and laundry and dishwasher detergent. Great space to to entertain and gather groups!
Thank you Drew for making our family gathering comfortable.

We rented the house for 9 family members (all adults) in October. The house is wonderful - the layout is perfect for everyone to be together but also most bedrooms are on the upper floors to allow your own private space. The outside decks and and fire pit area are spacious and plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy.
Views out back of the marsh gave us nice views and some spectacular pictures at dusk. A quick two block walk brought us to a beautiful beach where we enjoyed lots of walks each morning and afternoon.
The owner is very responsive and helpful.
I can’t say enough good things - we hope to go back as a family soon!

We stayed with our family to enjoy the wedding of our daughter. Although it was a rainy weekend, the home was comfortable and allowed for everyone to have their own space. Views were fantastic and the open floor plan was key to convenience and meals!

Our family loved the layout of this house. The space was perfect and the openness of the main living area was very nice. The location was great for us, as we enjoyed many walks to the beach. The only drawback for us was the lack of cleanliness. If they could step up the cleaning, this house would be a 5 star from us. It was such a nice big place for a large group, but we were disappointed that it was so dirty in so many areas.

Overall the property wasn't up to the standards that we expected especially for the price.

The location is perfect; however, the house was very dirty. The drawer with the eating utensils was full of crumbs and hair, the floor was filthy, the windowsills had dead bugs on them, the linens were not clean, and the vents were caked with dust. For the price being paid, cleanliness should not have to be a concern.

We had a wonderful stay. We have a large family and the house offered the space we needed. The screened in porch and balcony were fantastic. Would definitely stay again though passing on a few improvements to the owner privately.

A rough exterior masked a gorgeous space with room for 12 of us plus 2 porches for getting away.
Clean and welcoming. All the kitchen amenities we needed.
Oh, and great proximity to the beach and OOB.

Could have been a little cleaner. Host was responsive but lack of punctuation in messages left room for interpretation and came across as unprofessional.

The actual space and location were just perfect for our family. There was plenty of room for kids to spread out and play. Our major complaint was the house was filthy! The fronts of cabinets, drawers inside and out were pretty disgusting. The kitchen has a random assortment of stuff but not much matching and very disorganized. Cookware and utensils were put away dirty, the fridge was not clean, and there were wine stains on the wall and ceiling. The railing on the rooftop deck was not very secure, and there was a broken chaise lounge just waiting to be thrown out. The view, however was just lovely. As I initially said, it is a wonderful location and a very pretty setting on the marsh and close to the beach.
The home itself was built with much thought and very good design. Wide staircase, big windows, good bathrooms, double laundry and dishwashers. The photos and description on the website were very accurate.

The home was clean and cozy for our party 15. Enough rooms and beds for everyone. Never felt overly crowded. We also took advantage of the fire pit and made s’mores with the kids. We were able to utilize the beach chairs and cart to hold everything for our short walk to pine point beach. House was situated about 10 mins away from old orchard beach and the boardwalk/carnival which the kids enjoyed. Check in was easy and check out instructions was also simple. Would def recommend and stay here again.

I stayed at this amazing location with 16 family members, ages 12 to 86. It was perfect for everyone! We spent a ton of time on the upper deck and the screened-in porch. The kitchen was well-equipped for a large crowd. We will definitely be staying here again.

This house is amazing! We stayed there for our annual girls retreat and this house was perfect. There was plenty of room for the five of us. The upstairs deck was great for watching the sunsets. The location was convenient to downtown Portland and hiking trails, and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. My only suggestion is to move the fire pit to the back yard (it's located on the side of the house and we felt it was too close to the house and fence to use).

Stayed here with a group of gal friends for a long weekend. We had the best time. The location is quiet and serene. Great sunsets from the roof deck! We didn’t use the firepit but it was all set up for us just in case. I would love to stay here again. Thanks for sharing your house with us!

Drew’s home was perfect for the eleven people (plus an infant and 2dogs) in our group. It is lovely and well equipped with a beautiful marsh view. We were able to cook for and seat all of us at the generously sized table. The sandy beach is a short, pleasant walk away.

Great house for a large group, we had 9 people who slept comfortably. Hung out in the living room and made lots of meals in the large kitchen.
Kitchen is a bit oddly stocked and missing nice serving bowls or platters, no wooden cutting boards etc. The inside of the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen were also a bit grimey/sticky with lots of crumbs and random old junk. Kitchen is not well stocked (there was no: coffee, tea, spices, oil, extra toilet paper, paper towels, no hand soap in the bathrooms, no shampoo/conditioner in any bathrooms and very few wine glasses) and not many towels (the bath towels were old and thin and we had to re-wash them so everyone had one). That being said the location is cool, beautiful views of the salt marsh and lovely wide beach only a few blocks away. Just wish the house had been a tad cleaner, more well stocked for our large group for what we paid to stay there.

My children and grandchildren and their significant others came for the 4 days that we spent at this lovely and welcoming house. We were 12-15 people. There is plenty of space and a great kitchen to cook for all. The house was big enough for those who wanted alone time and we had lots of time for beach walks in the winter. We will do our annual retreat there again.

This was a great house for a family gathering! Lots of space to hang out in. A very quick, short walk to the beach.

Such mixed reviews on this one....
It's a beautiful home, the layout is perfect, the beds are comfortable and it's in such a lovely location.
We have stayed in dozens of VBRO properties over the years and this one was by far the dirtiest. Floors were filthy, bathrooms full of hair, and lots of dust and trash under beds and furniture. The kids even found a makeup brush made into one of the beds on the third floor. Which makes us wonder if the linens had been washed. The patio furniture had been moved into the bunk room and was full of dirt and sand which made a big mess upstairs. The biggest issue for us though was the mice. We saw several mice running around the kitchen and in the living room all times of the day. The kids even caught one and put it out back in the marsh and we still continued to see them. There were also broken screens on the porch and we had a huge problem regulating the heat. We would set the heat in the mid 60s and the upstairs was in the 80s. Too hot!
A deep thorough clean and some mouse traps would make all the difference.

We have had a cousins getaway for 20 years. This was our second time renting this property and we loved it. Very nicely furnished and well equipped. Lots of room for everyone and plenty of bathrooms. Ideal for large family gatherings. Host is very accommodating and very responsive. We will be back!

We loved the house and the location. Many times it was mentioned that this was one of the nicest places we have stayed as a family.

This place is gorgeous! It IS a duplex but you can't hear the others staying on that side. The house is amazing. Queen bed on Main floor, 2 king beds and a double queen on 2nd floor. 3rd floor has the bunk room and 2 singles with a bug bathroom. There is a deck up there with an amazing view! Close to the beach! Beach is gorgeous! Wonderful! Close to old orchard Beach. Close to a wonderful walking trail. The guys went to a brewery. Barreled soles brewery. They loved it! Played corned hole in the yard, chatted with neighbors, walked the dogs in the cute neighborhood. We would definitely come back. Easily could sleep 16, up to 18 ppl but the living room itself could fit 7. But the DR is right there with comfortable seating. 2 washers and dryers. We loved this place! Took my 70+ parents for a visit bc they used to come all the time to Maine and they could not stop raving about how wonderful the house was, the view, the neighborhood! Awesome!!!

We really enjoyed our family vacation. The house was large enough for all nine of us and allowed us to spread out a bit. There was a nice outdoor porch and we were walking distance to the beach. We were also close to many restaurants and it was a short drive to Portland.

The property was fabulous on all points. We had a group of 15 and there was ample room for everyone to sit down for meals, play family games and have quiet time away from the group. It's an easy walk to the beach from the house or you can drop off your items at the end of 1st Ave for everyone to then take beach items down the path. We brought beach chairs but there were numerous beach chairs to use at the property. The firepit was great! We cooked most meals at the house and found the kitchen well appointed with places, cups, mugs and flatware. Beds were super comfortable!

Large Beautiful clean home
We loved the house! So clean and beautiful. It was perfect for our entire family and our grandchildren who turned two while there. Every room was immaculate and the air conditioner was set at the perfect temp when we walked in.
The two back porches were gorgeous.
We never heard neighbors on either side of us.
Beautiful kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare meals for your family.
Beds were clean and comfortable!
We had a beautiful vacation and can’t wait to stay here again next year!

Great Family Vacation
This the second time we’ve stayed at this property and our third in Pine Point. The house is beautiful with lots of beds and bathrooms for our extended family. The open living area and screened porch were great for everyone to be together. We’ll be back next year!

Family Reunion
The property is one half of a duplex, 26 and 26A. A renovated older beach home that was transformed very nicely by enlarging the main floor adding a new kitchen, large screened in porch, 2nd and 3rd story bed and bathrooms and a large deck with beautiful views of the marsh. We liked the property, the community and the short walk to the beautiful beach.
The issues we had were with the cleanliness of the property. A strong odor of dead animal near the microwave and mouse droppings in the drawer below the microwave containing cooking pans greeted us upon arrival. Dust and herds of "dust bunnies" and feathers in the corners, under beds, on window sills and all around the screened in porch. I can only imagine they were from last season they were so thick. Laundry detergent spilled on the counter and a sock from previous guests under the cabinet easily visible as you walk upstairs. General grime and accumulated dust around doors and baseboards. We contacted Drew immediately and he sent someone out that day but only cleaned up the mouse droppings.
As the week continued we found more mouse droppings under the sink and the odor continued.
A thick layer of dust and pollen covered the table and chairs on the screened in porch and spiders.
Remotes were missing batteries, throw pillows were dusty and stained, and stains were on comforters. Fabric chairs in living and dining room were very soiled and sticky.
This property is in need of a thorough cleaning. $350 cleaning fee--definitely NOT getting that level.of clean!
Truth be told, we asked if there is a possibility to check in early and Drew said yes we could check in at 1pm (which actually ended up being between 2-3pm), but in no way were we told the house would be less clean to accommodate an earlier check-in.

View not as expected
House is very nice, spacious, lots of beds and bathrooms.
House is not very clean. Dust accumulation and dead bugs. Bedsheets with stains and decorative pillows with boogers on them.
Outdoors is cluttered, lots of chairs.
It was nice to have cornhole for kids.
View is of bay but tide is mostly low.
Uber and Lyft not easy to get ride, taxi is expensive. Local shuttle didn’t start til our last day at house.
Overall, decent place to stay. Was nice to have access to washer and dryer. And fully equipped kitchen.
