The staff (Luca) is very friendly and let us check in early and parking the car in the site of hotel. Breakfast is good and hotel is so close to down town walking distance

A great hotel and perfect location. We arrived early (10:45) and told our room was ready! An excellent start! Comfy bed, large bathroom and a swimming pool. A short walk into town, the benefit of staying in Pienza is when the tourist buses and cars leave, it is even more beautiful. We had lovely breakfasts and the service was first class.
We thought the charge for parking was excessive. I was not happy when a game of ‘cheese rolling’ was organised in the car park which resulted in children leaning on my car. The air conditioning could have been better, it was very hot weather and it struggled to cool the room

Rutiliano is a great place for the Pienza afficionado, the hotel is close to the old town, the facilities, including the outdoor pool, a wonderful asset, breakfasts are very good and the overall feeling of a family run hotel add a lot to the feelgood factor. Anytime again!
Due to the summer heat we had to leave the air condition on during the night. It is a rather noisy system. Leaving a window open was not an option as the were outside machinery going on all night. Therefore I would go back any time, but not in room 22 - there are plenty others in the hotel which are quieter.
