The home has been recently remodeled and features lofted ceilings with skylights, clean modern lines, and a full kitchen with new appliances, including a gas stove. Outdoors, you’ll find a fenced backyard, ideal for the family dog, and a patio that provides a perfect setting for outside meals. Guests will also enjoy coming home each day after exploring Bend and taking a well-deserved soak in the home's private hot tub. What’s nearby: Perfectly Placed Plum Cottage is located right between the three most desirable neighborhoods in Bend—Newport, Galveston, and downtown Bend. Within a one-minute walk, you can reach the Newport Street shops, restaurants, and cafes. And because you'll be walking so much, you can store your car and your sports equipment in the clean, spacious garage. Downtown destinations are about a 15-minute walk through scenic Drake Park, and Mt. Bachelor's great winter and summer activities are only a 30-minute drive from the cottage. Plum Cottage truly offers one of the best locations from which to experience all that Bend and Central Oregon have to offer. Stayed here with three couples and had a great time. Easily walkable into town, kitchen was nice, 2 car garage and easy street parking was convenient. Only downside was one of the bedrooms has 2 twins instead of a queen. Hot Tub was great.

This house was spotless. It was decorated in a charming and comfortable way. Everything we needed was there. We walked to the grocery store and multiple restaurants. The neighborhood was full of other charming bungalows and cottages.

I had my birthday weekend here with some friends. The house is in an incredible location with short walk to restaurants and downtown Bend. The hot tub was also a very nice perk. Would highly recommend!

We had such a great trip and loved the cottage. It was really clean and had everything we needed. The location is perfect and the hot tub was such a fun bonus!

Location was so convenient, with the grocery store right across the street and gas station right around the corner. We were just a 20 min walk to the heart of downtown, through a pleasant neighborhood”, and an easy 25 min drive to Mt Bachelor. The home was very clean with great amenities and the beds were very comfortable. Kitchen has most necessities, although the knives could be of better quality if you plan on cooking. The hot tub being ready to go was fantastic, and the large garage very convenient for the snow season. Overall fantastic experience, can’t wait to come again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 7-day stay at this property. The three bedrooms worked great for our party of six adults, though do realize that one bedroom has twin beds likely best suited for kids. The master bedroom is very spacious and had convenient closet and dresser space. The master bedroom also has a TV with Roku. The great room living area is spacious, functional, and comfortable. The kitchen amenities are great. Forced air gas heat keeps the house cozy. One of the best features is a two-car garage! Another great feature is the hot tub. Lastly, the house location is very appealing, with an excellent grocery store a stone's throw away and the ability to walk to nearby restaurants. Eateries in downtown Bend are also walkable (use the footbridge that crosses the lake). I definitely recommend staying at this property for your next visit to Bend!

Located very close to a market, which comes in real handy. Walking distance to downtown. Very nice house with a garage. There were a couple of minor issues like no propane, very large wasp nest on the back porch, but generally a very good experience.

All was ready for us when we arrived. Nice to have the garage in a busy area where many have to park on the street. Small fenced backyard for the two small dogs we brought with us . Quiet neighborhood at night. I thought we might have more directions on how to work things like the central heating / air conditioning, tv's etc.. but figured it out :)
'Minor' criticism " Some dust bunnies hear and there .. under the bed .. but over all very clean. We needed an iron ..but found no ironing board on the premises. Love the Newport Market a block away and walking distance to parks. All in all , a pleasant stay :)

We stayed at the Plum Cottage for a short weekend and Bend and loved it! The house comes with just about everything you could need. There’s a great market across the street and many cafes and restaurants in walking distance. We will definitely stay here again.

Easy walk to many amenities. Overall it is clean, but missing conveniences like laundry soap, napkins, coffee, and hand soap at the kitchen sink. Paper products were cheap, and the towels thin and scratchy. Found stains on the master sheets and the towel ring kept falling off the wall in one of the bathrooms. It is located on a busy intersection and their is road construction close by. We had to pay a $90 fee for the hot tub even though we never used it.

This was a great spot for our family to stay. Location is great to walk to plenty of cute spots and we loved Harmon park. We did have some pincher bugs in the bathrooms but it was a heat wave so lots of bugs prob made their way indoors. Wish they could provide pack and play during our stay but we were able to borrow from friends we were visiting. House is not kid-proofed in terms of safety locks and plug covers. It’s prob meant for older kids. I wish I had known master bedroom has a big skylight over the bed. Kids slept in in their dark rooms but I was awake with the sun at 6am.

The house was very clean and centrally located within the city so that it was an easy bike ride to downtown or to the river or really pretty much anywhere. The A/C and heater worked great for those cool mornings and warm evenings. We used the hot tub every night. The jets worked great, the temp was 102-104, and it was great sitting in the tub outside and looking at the stars in the night sky. We were not very pleased with the skylight that was in the master bedroom as it would become full daylight by 7AM in the bedroom each morning. There should be a shade or cover for this skylight. Overall, pretty impressed with this 3 bedroom / 2 bath house. Oh, and the garage was great for parking a full size (4 door pickup truck) and our bikes.

This was a great house to stay in and close walking distance to many things. We had a great time. The house was very clean and accommodated 4 adults and two dogs very well. The hottub was great after all of the walking and hiking we did. The market on the corner was a nice surprise as well. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful family vacation and loved that your home was in walking distance from the river float end point at Harmon park!!! Loved having that adorable grocery store so close plus all the restaurants and coffee shops. We walked downtown for dinner thru Drake park. It was so lovely! Thank you!

We loved the location and the great restaurants and breweries within walking distance. We loved easy access to the market. We loved the hot tub. The house was very clean and the kitchen was decently equipped. I wish there was a bin for recycling and a dog bowl. It was the perfect house for our family of four plus dog.

Great location, close to a nice market. Having access to the garage for parking was great. House was pretty clean. Hot tub probably needs service, jets were barely working and the holder that would contain the chemicals was empty. The cover for the hot tub is disintegrating and pieces of it were floating in the water. We had our dog and the small, fenced back yard was nice.
