We took a "guy's" trip to Hatfield and Mccoy trails and found this property on VRBO. We were completely satisfied with our stay and felt that property was described perfectly. The house was spacious, clean, and nicely equipped for our group of guys. A fire pit in the back and a large kitchen/dining area was perfect for group gatherings. The two large parking areas were perfect for our trucks, trailers, and machines. We were even able to bring our own power washer to clean off our machines in the driveway after our daily trail riding.
Communication with the property owner was fantastic. She was quick to respond to any questions and even gave us recommendations for the surrounding area.
Proximity to the trail system had to have been the best part of this stay. West Viriginia has clearly made it a priority to make things UTV-friendly, allowing us to use our machines to drive downtown, head to the gas station, stop at the stores, etc. Once they were unloaded, the trucks stayed put until we were loading up to leave.
We'll definitely be staying here again!

Great place in a good location. I think we rode a little over 300 miles in 4 days from this house. It's located very conveniently between a few different trail systems. The house itself has all the conveniences of home. Very comfy atmosphere, felt right at home.

We had issues getting the code for the door, so, we were left waiting outside for several hours. Brandy apologized sincerely for it and reimbursed us for the day. That was the only snafu we had. Overall, very clean, comfortable house close to the trails. Would recommend it.

Great Place to stay and enjoy 3 great trail systems
The owners are very nice and the house is clean and comfortable. We had a group of 10 and it was plenty of room for all of us. The back yard is nice with picnic area and fire pit. Trail was very close as well as access to food and groceries. Also, Trailhead Bar and grill was a awesome place to stop in Matewan and get food and drinks. Brandy was amazing & was easy to get a hold of. Very nice lady! The house was great. Very spacious & everything you need, and the backyard looks great too! Riding the trails straight from the house was awesome as well. Such a fun and amazing experience. We can't wait to come back in a year or so! We also brought our kayaks and we kayaked the Tug Fork River which was a blast. Thanks again for letting us rent your home!
