Located in Cape May, this lovely house for $1,229 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Our beautiful home is located at 1520 New York Avenue in the Poverty Beach section of Cape May. With over 5,000+ feet of living space, it is the perfect home for family vacations, reunions, holiday gatherings, girls or guys weekends, couples looking to get away for a long weekend, or any reason at all. With so much to do year-round in historic Cape May, this is the perfect rental for any season! Available for weekly or 2 – 3-night minimum stays year-round. Located 2 short blocks from the beach (lifeguard protected in season), our home offers plenty of indoor and outdoor space. With four floors of living space, there is plenty of room for everyone. Our home offers ample, flexible sleeping arrangements. The first floor is self-contained with a spacious bedroom which has a king bed and a twin trundle bed; a living room with a queen sleeper sofa; a bathroom with a shower and a kitchenette and access to an outside patio. The laundry room and a pool table are also located on the first floor. We call the second floor, "the gathering spot". A spacious family room opens to the kitchen and two sitting areas. Ideal for the whole family to gather or bound with friends! There is also a wet bar, dining room, 1/2 bath, and a master bedroom, with a king bed and private bath with a shower and soaker tub. The third floor is the sleeping quarters with three ample size bedrooms all with their own private bath rooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed; the second bedroom has a queen bed and a full bed; third bedroom has a full bed and a twin bed. Each bedroom has a shower in its bathroom. There is also a twin day bed located in the hallway sitting area. The fourth floor is a good spot to relax and catch the ocean breeze as windows wrap around the whole room to provide a 360 degree view of Cape May. There are wood and tile floors throughout the house. There are eight ceiling fans located throughout the house including a ceiling fan in each bedroom. An elevator goes from the first floor up to the third floor. A large covered porch wraps around the front of the house, there is a deck off of the family room with tables for dinner on a nice summer night, a covered patio on the first floor and an outdoor shower round out the amenities of our beautiful custom built home. This house is well maintained and very clean. Events - We welcome events of up to 35 people. In addition to the standard rates listed, there is a $250 event fee. FAQ: Beach tags, towels and linens are NOT included with this rental.

The location of the house could not be better. We had 7 girls staying here and never felt like we were on top of one another, but still had enough communal spaces to all hang out together. Beautiful home. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was beautiful and in a wonderful location. It was the perfect spot for our family to spend Labor Day weekend. There was plenty of space for our multiple families with kids ranging from 11-25. The entertainment areas including a ping pong and pool table kept everyone occupied. We could easily walk to the beach and could even see the parasailing from the crows nest. We would definitely stay here again.

Doug (Owner) was great to work with. From the begining He was extremely responsive. All of our requests were accomodated and the attention to detail; overall cleanliness, available linen & towel service, hard wired gas grill and FULLY appointed kitchen (pots/pans, cutlery, dishes, glassware, etc.) made for a carefree couple of days. The location was awesome...quiet and an easy walk to the beach! The home was thoughtfully layed out and the common areas, including the PUB, were great gathering spots. For peace and quiet there were ample "get-away" spaces. You won't go wrong when spending time at this TERRIFIC Home in the wonderful beach-side resort of Cape May, NJ. Thanks Doug & Family for sharing your home with us!

We were a group of nine adults in Cape May for a friend's daughter's wedding. The house was spotless and well equipped. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom which was a huge plus. The elevator was really helpful when unloading and unloading the cars, especially for those of us up on the 3rd floor. The 4th floor was a warm and cozy spot for napping , watching some tv, reading and looking out at the sunset. The common areas were comfy and roomy enough for a much bigger group. Location was on a very pretty, quiet street yet close to downtown Cape May and all of our wedding activities. We were there for a short time but really enjoyed visiting the Cape May light house, Sunset Beach and Mad Batter for breakfast. All in all it was a perfect house for our group and we would all highly recommend it! Thanks Doug for all your help when I needed it! I

Douglas was very helpful for our group. We had requested early check-in and he didn't bat an eye before granting it. The rental process was easy and communication with the owner was good. The property is clean and as it appears in pictures. There are many spaces for a group to gather. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch (which had plenty of seating) and playing games at the large dining table. We cooked all meals at the house and found the kitchen to have everything we needed and appreciated the two full refrigerators and the wine fridge. It is an easy walk to the beach and although we had our own chairs, there were plenty at the house for guest use.
