My room was on the 3rd floor. It was bright and cheerful & tastefully decorated & I had a balcony which was great as I like fresh air. The rooms in this wing had recently been renovated. Everything was very well designed, modern, spotless & comfortable.
The lobby area was spacious, never busy and I appreciated the help-yourself fresh coffee available all day long. I liked having a fridge and kettle in my room.
Excellent breakfast and staff super friendly and efficient. It was a 5-minute walk to the Santa Maria Novella train station. From the airport I got T2 tram to Alamanni stop (by SMN train station).
Possibly the lower floor rooms might hear the rubbish pick/up early mornings but it didn’t bother me as I was higher up. I believe the rooms are soundproofed & the windows cut out noise too.

The staff was incredible. Thoughtful, knowledgeable and professional.
It’s a little dated but still works well

Clean, reasonably priced, good breakfast
Windows are very thin. Every day I woke up at 5:30am because of a loud garbage truck. It's not the best place if you want to sleep well.
