We were originally going to stay in Montepulciano and we are so pleased we stayed in San Quirico Di Orcia and chose Palazzo Del Capitano. This place was like an oasis for our busy holiday in Italy. We absolutely loved the garden and pool and spent each afternoon there after touring nearby towns. The accommodation itself was excellent and so were the staff and service.

The grounds were so lovely. There were beautiful seating areas with relaxing music throughout. It was very charming.

The service especially around the garden bar was perfect. The location generally but also the proximity to the village.
Air conditioning way short of standard. Wasps at the pool steps stopping people entering the pool
