The location close to the station was ideal for us. It was an easy walk to the city centre, or the little yellow bus gets you there free (and to other areas of the city, including historic areas such as the Wellington Quarries and the Citadel). The receptionist was courteous and helpful. The public areas of the hotel are delightful, with their Art Deco design, elegant furniture and a piano! Our room was comfortable, with a good bed, plenty of space and storage. The shower was excellent. There are good cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the location excellent. Staff were very friendly. Excellent value for money
The soap, shampoo and conditioner were not adequate. We also like to have tea and coffee making in the room and this wasn't provided

A lot of noise from the streets, no aircondition and a lot of mosquitos.
