It is a lovely comfortable accommodation halfway between the Rialto bridge and the San Marco square. We were glad to return a few times per day to our room and have a shower in the private bathroom. Beds are comfortable, room was quiet and everything is tidy - spick and span.
The fridge could have been a bit bigger, but it is a really piddling detail.

The location was great, and I was so excited to finally visit Venice and be so central to museums. However, the room was musty, had water stains all over the walls, and the staff was incredibly unprofessional and rude. First, you have to buzz into the building which isn't a big deal, but the entire buzzer is broken and difficult to find the button to press. Then, it's impossible to hear anyone talking to you through it and I had to shout my name into it in the middle of the street just to be let into the building. Once inside, nobody was actually at the check in, even though we arrived exactly when the email said check in was. One would think someone would be AT the desk AT CHECK IN TIME, but I guess that's just silly of me. I was traveling with a native who had lived in Venice for a few years, and she was the one who primarily spoke to the woman behind the desk to make it easier all around for everyone. Once inside the room, we were there for about 5 minutes before someone came knocking and just walked in to finish making the second bed... it was really weird.. we were exhausted from just having walked 45 minutes from the train station and really didn't want to be bothered. The room had fabric walls, and horrible water stains all over them that were just disgusting and looked moldy. Because the walls were fabric, it was incredibly dusty and we had to open the windows the entire time just to get fresh air. It would be such a beautiful room if it was just maintained and cared for, the ceiling was stunning with exposed beams! When we went to check out the following afternoon, we were told 11am was check out or you'd be charged for every extra hour.... once again nobody was at the desk. We sat there for over 45 minutes waiting for someone, and I called and texted the whatsapp number given to us with no answer. Eventually we just placed the key on the counter and took a photo so it was time stamped showing we returned the key at the proper time.

The Hotel is located in a perfect place to explore and enjoy the most famous spots of Venice.
The wi-fi connection was not reliable.

location, check-in easy, good instructions provided to find the property, bathroom was also good
the property is dated. The bed is 2 singles put together (king-split). the gap between mattresses is very noticeable. can be noisy, but that comes with the central location

The location is brilliant!
Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel. We had a green split level room and there were 3 of us staying for 3 nights. We think there are bedbugs as each of us experienced a huge amount of bites and they certainly are not mosquito bites. Faces, arms, legs are covered in bits. Basically, the body parts that were in contact with pillows and the mattress have bite marks. I tend to sleep on my face which is now covered in bite marks!
On top of that the air con was broken and the heating was on all the time in the top bedroom. When we addressed the problem we were told that the technician is booked in to come and fix the air con in the near future and that they don’t know how to turn the heating off. We were given a fan to help with the hight temperature - thank you!
The mini fridge was dirty and not working when we arrived but when we addressed the problem , it got fixed and cleaned- thank you!
The staff is only available over the phone but they did try to help with the air con and the fridge.
Too bad we didn’t realised the bites we were experiencing could be due to bed bugs as otherwise we would had moved out after the first night

Great location near Rialto Bridge, walking distance to San Marco. Charming interior and staff was helpful and responsive in chat prior to arrival
Not enough shampoo and soap for the duration of our stay, no refills for toilet paper meant we had no toilet paper for the last two days. A/C was broken and blew hot air into the already extremely hot room. There was no one at the reception desk at any time of day or night and we had to check out by ourselves because they wouldn't pick up the phone on the number they specifically told us to call if we needed anything. Shower door was falling apart. Not enough outlets to charge phones over night and have the tower fan blowing which was necessary since the A/C was broken. Room was expensive considering its extremely small size. A lot of problems could have been avoided if we had been able to reach the hotel staff at any time, but they were completely unavailable while we were there.

the room has enough space for two people. It is comfortable for staying for few days.
dont believe the free luggage storage!! its totally a scam because I have never meet the receptionist during the stay. I have waited for 5 hours for someone to open the dorr for me so I can leave my luggage in hotel. When checking-out, I have to leave the key in reception, there is no way I can get in the hotel after that!

nothing! it was a smelly, dirty place.
everything! They tried to Rob us of €96 for “ city tax”, when we were told it was just €3.50 per person per night. They were rude, didn’t speak Italian or English, the place smelt terrible, it was dirty and left a bad impression, so much do that we refused to stay.

great location - reception lady was very helpful and informative & super friendly
having to crawl to plug in a kettle wasn’t really what I had in mind - but I guess that’s the age of the hotel building and difficult with old electric sockets.
hotel is in a super location but a tad dated- ok for a couple of nights

The staff and the location are the best of it.
The shower shows signs of poor cleaning. The suite has a lot of dust and the heating system is as noisy as a diesel truck.

Location in heart of Venice perfect.
Property showing signs of age. Poor tea and coffee and plugs in strange places made boiling kettle difficult for morning cuppa. No fridge.

Our host Marcella could not have been more helpful and friendly. she settled us in and gave us lots of useful advice, she was excellent. Old style hotel in a typical Venetian street. We had 2 flights of stairs which were no trouble for us. Great location a few steps from Ponte Rialto, plenty of restaurants and cafés next door. Well located for easy walks to many of Venice’s top attractions.
