Great hotel

WiFi and air-conditioning great. Loved the pool. Good location near the blue gate. Alcohol available at the bar. Staff excellent especially Kamal who arranged tours and a car for us. Very good value for money.

good choice for a short stay in Fes and want to be close to the Medina and attractions.

great location moments from the Medina. Swimming pool and courtyard.

The hotel is a little tired in places. We were on motorbikes and misunderstood in thinking there was secure parking on site. In fact parking is on street and not within the hotel itself, however, the security was good and not too expensive.

Cheap pool and good location but VERY loud music

we moved to this hotel for the pool! Most other hotels with pools in Fes seemed overpriced. this is a great location for getting around the Medina in Fes and going to all the good spots.

the live music is SO loud until about midnight.. it’s like the band is playing in your room, even with earplugs.. there is no door on the shower.. wouldn’t recommend this for friends holidaying together

The service staff is very kind, the location of the hotel is very good, very close to the Blue Gate, the facilities are complete, and the local tour meeting point is also in this hotel, the overall feeling of the hotel is very good! If i come to Fez again, I will definitely choose this hotel!

Cool for sleep, polite personnel, no internet in room

Cool reception personnel.

Horrible internet. They have a router without repeaters, every floor had its own entire router with its own password and name but the signal didn't reach the hotel room well.

conveniently located hotel with friendly staff, that seems like it needs more care to be good value

The location was great, right next to the entrance towards the Medina. The bed was large and comfortable. There is a nice patio next to the bar, which was however unused and undergoing repairs. The hotel staff were very friendly, and helped us to check in early.

The room was not really clean, and there was just a thick layer of dust on the floor. The room, although large enough, had no furniture other than the bed - so our stuff had to end up on the dust. The Aircon had no controls, so we could not switch it on or off. The pool had water, but because the pump was not on, it had collected dead insects in it. I fished some of them out with a net, but there were too many to bother swimming in the pool. The hotel seems like it has seen better times, and needs a new injection of love and care.

Do not stay anywhere else, this hotel is beyond amazing, i loved it, its perfect in every way

I love the location , it is unbeatable, so central and very very safe, (i am a solo female traveller), there is a taxi rank and pharmacy just outside and its only minutes walk from the Blue Gate, The room was beautiful, the nicest i stayed in on my trip, it was so very clean big and spacious and it led onto a lovely balcony where i coukd sit and watch the street below. The pool is fantastic, its clean and a great size for swimming, i was so lucky that there was never many around while i was there, i felt i haf it to myself which i loved. The hotel itself is beautiful, i think it had previously been some kinda embassy or consulate or something so it is a very interesting building, it looks quite normal from the outside but once inside the place just gets bigger and bigger and more beautiful and curious to explore, there is a fantastic bar, which is a welcome relief in morroco and especially great for your first nights in the city or until gou get your bearings, I cant recommend this hotel enough, i loved it so much, i extended my stay for more days, i did not want to leave it and i intend to go back again soon and bring my daughters.

The place is very tradicional, very close to the Medina. Nice place to Stay, we Will repeat for sure. The emplyoe are very kindly always concerned about how do we feel and if we need something. Nice swimyng pool and very traditional. Great Choice

I always stay in the Batha Hotel when I am visiting Fez. I always will.

Breakfast OK, but not exceptional.

The nightly music was bad, as it filled my room.

Everything!!!! Staff kind... Lovelly... Good room, good pool, good bar !!! The only bar with alcool drink close to Medina

I dont understand why they use olds photos on website/Booking.com .... The hotel is new.....they should change the hotel's photos... I really loved this place, i got surprised 😀 Because everything is better than then the olds photos....

Comfortable and convenient

It was Ramadan and they were offering breakfast which would have been helpful to know ahead of time. The service was great and the beds were comfortable. This old hotel has a lot of charm, is right outside the old Medina and is being refurbished. It's looking good!

They prefer cash instead of a credit card. There is parking but it's a bit difficult parking on the street.

Location is perfect for visiting the old Medina, and taxis are outside for trips into the new town.

Exceptional

The hotel is very well located, at a walking distance from the old part of the city of Fez, at the entrance of the Medina, just next to the blue gate, within easy walking distance from the main square and the market,souk, restaurants etc. Very safe walking around and easy to find your way. The service was above and beyond. They really do take the extra effort to please their customers. I've appreciated the hospitality and the disponibility of the staff for every request, it was so excellent for A to z. Bedrooms were regularly cleaned and had an authentic feel. My room was serene and incredibly quiet. The hotel architecture is breathtaking and the interior design reflects a combination of both traditional Moroccan craftsmanship and authentic English style. Everything is well maintained and more than worth the value of the stay. I'm coming back for sure!
