The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming. It is right in the middle of the old part of town, with many places to eat nearby. We didn't get the breakfast because there are many places to get an espresso and pastry just steps away, but it did look quite good, and they still offered us an espresso in the mornings. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the whole place is charming.
Not a dislike as much as something to be aware of. You are in the middle of a lively scene and should expect some noise as a result. One night of our stay there were musicians performing in the square (Tropea Blue Jazz festival) and the music went quite late.

Great location, right in the heart of old town, but on a quiet street, so it's sheltered from the noise. The room was good size and comfortable. Bathroom is a little dated, but clean and everything works well. The host and staff are extremely friendly and helpful, helped us get the luggage up and down pretty steep stairs, and arranged a taxi to pick up right at the hotel, which is in a restricted area and requires special permission. We loved our stay there!
