Nestled in New Seabury, this charming cottage for $734 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. June: 3 night minimum July and August: 7 night minimum (Saturday to Saturday only) September - May: 2 night minimum ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come relax and enjoy our updated (inside and out!) and tastefully furnished beach cottage in family friendly Popponesset ... the perfect spot for your family summer vacation or wedding weekend at the nearby Popponesset Inn and New Seabury Country Club. Let our home become your Cape home away from home. Everything you need will be here waiting for you! Bed linens and bath towels are provided as well as all of your beach needs (chairs, wagon/cart, umbrella, sand toys, etc.). Also provided are daily household supplies - TP, paper towels, dish & laundry detergent, trash bags, etc. No extra packing or shopping necessary. Just show up, relax and enjoy! Our recently remodeled cottage offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. A large fully furnished eat-in kitchen and comfortable living area will not disappoint. Outdoor living space offers a large deck with gas grill, dining table and lounge furniture. Walk to our private community beach (approx. 300-400 yards away; 5-8 minute walk) and enjoy the warm ocean water of the Nantucket Sound, kayak and paddle board in Popponesset Bay or search for critters on The Spit. Children can walk or bike to the ball field, playground or Dean's Pond where they can learn to fish or feed the ducks. Our Community Center (one block away) offers daily morning and evening activities for all ages in the summer season and the Cape Cod Children's Museum is a 3 minute drive away and is open year round. Take a short drive, bike ride or walk to the charming Popponesset Marketplace featuring a general store, ice cream shop, candy store, pizza parlor, miniature golf, children's activities, award winning lobster rolls, raw bar and specialty boutiques. Live entertainment is provided Thurs-Sun each week in the summer. Grab a drink at the gazebo while the kids dance to the music! Enjoy waterfront dining at the nearby Popponesset Inn or New Seabury Country Club. Travel 3 miles by car to Mashpee Commons which features 90+ shops, a movie theater, bowling alley, concerts, family entertainment and numerous restaurants. This vacation home was clean, comfortably furnished and well maintained. Quiet, pleasant neighborhood. House had a wonderfully equipped kitchen. Families with children will be delighted by the huge range of toys, strollers, etc. It was a little longer of a walk to the beach than we had anticipated but the private beach was beautiful! Family members enjoyed fishing at the Spit. Our only complaint concerns the door leading from the master bedroom to the in suite bathroom. The barn style door is too small for the opening to the bathroom. Huge gap no matter how you try to close the door! No privacy for the person in the bathroom!

Great place and stocked with all the amenities. I have been renting place for the last 15 summers and this by far had the most thought for their renter in what was supplied. We appreciated the detail !

The location is spectacular. I would love to move there some day. It is a quiet and gorgeous neighborhood in a perfect location. The beach is a very short walk and is a relaxing and quiet beach. The local area is great. The host immediately responds, although there were no issues on our end. The ad is exactly as it appears. Great stay!

Everything was great. Loved the house. Perfect for our stay for a family wedding at the Pomponessett Inn. Decor was so cute. House was stocked with the important stuff. I would definitely recommend this home for families.

Adorable rental in Popponesset. Kids room was great for toddler with bed low to the ground and a trundle option. Kitchen was well outfitted and nice touch with lots of kids books/ toys available! Would rent again!

Just What We Wanted
We enjoyed the short walk to the beach, and the quiet neighborhood. Erin was very responsive, and the house was well provisioned. It was just what we were looking for.

We had five adults and had plenty of room. The high-quality sheets and towels were new, and the kitchen was well appointed. The furniture was very cozy for lounging around and the kitchen table was large enough for all to eat at. The shed was full of beach gear and there were plenty of games inside the home. It was a quick walk to the private beach and about a 20 minute walk to The Poppy Marketplace. Erin was wonderful throughout the process, very accommodating and quickly returned my texts and emails. We look forward to returning next year!

Wonderful stay!
We loved our stay! The house was gorgeous and clean. Erin was also super helpful thru the whole process. We stayed with our 2 young children and the house was perfect for the 4 of us. Despite all the rainy weather we got, there were a lot of things to do and we loved walking to the “Spit” when it cleared up. This was our first and certainly won’t be our last visit to the Poppy beach house!

This house was perfect for our family. It was bright, and clean and lovely and so well decorated for our beach weekend. The location is great - easy walk to the beach and Popponesset Marketplace. Erin was so helpful as we were making our plans. I know we will be back for another visit to Popponesset! I highly recommend this house for a great family trip!

Beautiful fully updated/renovated cottage
This cottage was in pristine condition and contained all the things we needed for our week - very well equipped. Our grandchildren were thrilled with how child-friendly it is; plenty of toys, and the ping pong in the very clean basement were hits with them. The only clarification for the listing would be that the window air conditioner is only in the living room, making the bedrooms a bit warm at night during the extended heat wave while we were there. Ceiling fans helped.
We would definitely consider again if going to the New Seabury area.

Perfect stay for our Wedding Weekend!
The Poppy House was the perfect place for us to stay for our wedding weekend in April! My mom, now husband and I stayed for the Thursday night before our Saturday wedding, my mom and I Friday night and my husband and I Saturday night and Sunday night, and could not have asked for a more perfect place. Erin’s perfectly decorated, welcoming Cape home is exquisite. She was so accommodating knowing that we were getting married, and allowed us the use of her basement to complete our flower arrangements, and all of the storage of the wedding buckets in the side kids bedroom. The house had everything we needed and much more! We listened to the music from the speakers in the living room while preparing the wedding favors, and sat on the comfortable couches the day after to open our wedding cards and relive the wonderful day we had just had. Everything in the house is absolutely perfect- beautifully picturesque yet comfortable! For anyone looking for an off-season rental on Cape Cod for a little weekend away- or for anytime, I would recommend Erin’s home for sure!

Repeat visit-- keeps getting better
This was my families second stay and I hope it's.not our last! The house is adorable, very clean and the kitchen has everything you need from a simple clam bake to an elaborate meal!
We loved going to "the spit." All the chairs, sand toys and even a cart wherein the shed to take to the beach. After the beach we enjoyed the many lawn games while we cooked out on the grill. Great outdoor furniture too! This house is truly all-inclusive. All you have to do is stop at the market for food and drinks on your way in (very close) and enjoy! Erin has out done herself with making her guests feel welcome! See you next time.

Fun Cape Getaway cottage
This Popponesset house is the perfect vacation home. Fun but tastefully decorated, it is close to beach, a fun park for little ones to play at. A short ride gets you to the market place and the Popponesset Inn. The kitchen is fully equipped should you choose to cook in. The 2 bathrooms make it ideal for a family to get up and going in the morning. While only there a weekend to attend a wedding , will certainly consider going back for a longer stay in the future.

This property is just beautiful.
This home was just what we needed, it was clean and beautiful. We rented it for our family to say in as our son was being married at the Popponesset Inn only a mile down the road. The owners were wonderful and very helpful to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again.

My family of 5 stayed at this wonderful Poppy cottage . The home is impeccable , beautifully decorated & complete with anything you might need. The kid themed bunk room is beyond adorable . The guest room was equally beautiful & comfortable. The master bedroom & bath left nothing to be desired. The ping pong table in the basement just one of the many added pleasures enjoyed by my kids. The home is in a great location to take advantage of the community center, playground, spit , beaches & marketplace. You will not be disappointed when choosing this home for your vacation

Wonderful Early September Girls Weekend
We were so thrilled with our weekend stay at this adorable home in Poppy! There were a group of us that were looking for a great, low-key, girls weekend getaway and this spot delivered. The house is adorably decorated and is bright, airy and very clean. It has such a welcoming feel! Erin was beyond wonderful with accommodating any requests we had and even included a fantastic welcome gift upon our arrival. The beach is within walking distance and in early September, it was very quiet there making us feel like we had our own private spot. It's very close to the Mashie Commons if you'd like to pop over there for dinner or shopping. Many thanks to Erin for making such a wonderful weekend possible for us!

Beautiful spot to vacation with family
We had a wonderful time vacationing at Erin's amazing little Cape Cod retreat. We arrived to find a wonderful gift for our Daughter and ourselves. Erin was very responsive when we had a few questions during our stay, and directed us to a number of activities during our time on the Cape. The house was perfect for our family and friends get together, and the large deck and patio with lounge furniture was perfect for relaxation and entertaining. The outdoor shower was amazing, and I would suggest to take advantage of it during stay vs showering indoors.

Perfect Cape in Poppy!
We got married last weekend at New Seabury Country Club and needed to find a place that we could stay during our wedding weekend. There was lot of running around but this cottage was a great place to take a few minutes to stop and catch our breath! It was EXTREMELY clean and comfortable. The decorations are so adorable I even brought my mom over to check the home out one afternoon to show her some of the cute touches! It was close to everything we needed to get to - The Popponesset Inn and New Seabury Country Club and Mashpee Commons. I couldn't recommend a rental property more highly. Thank you so much!!

Wonderful cottage for vacation
The four of us (My wife and two kids) spent three nights of the Memorial day weekend. Its a wonderful place and we had a great time. We will definitely try to go back again. The house newly renovated with fine taste and extremely cozy for the stay. The place was kept very clean and well equipped. The house is on a quiet treelined street and barely 5-10 min walk to the beach. The beach itself is beautiful, quiet and low key (which is what we prefer). We had av ery relaxing and fun time. There are several good restaurants within 10minutes of driving. The owners Erin and George were wonderful, very responsive and helpful.
All in all a great place to vacation and we loved it and would do go back again.
