Hermoso hotel

Las camas son demasiado cómodas, yo fui en un camión mediano y hay espacio para parquearlo arriba y si no abajo hay espacio, los espacios para estar afuera son muy cómodos y los acabados rústicos son geniales, un lugar muy cómodo y acogedor, y la piscina es ideal para refrescarse un rato, el desayuno es muy bueno, todo se manejo directamente de booking lo que agilizo la entrada y la salida.

La subida a las habitaciones es bastante pronunciada, si hay que subir caminando es muy agotador, fue lo único que diría que no me gustó pero no es algo en si negativo, estar en una colina da mucha privacidad y tranquilidad.

Quiet location , immersed in Jungle.The breakfast was delicious & well presented by helpful ladies.

Take a travel plug , no headboard on bed .

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

DO NOT STAY HERE. Worst hotel in CR. Our toilet was broken, no soap or water, 3 wasps nests on our bungalow, a murky dirty pool, crazy steep driveway that's hard to navigate in the dark, no receptionist and no staff at all present on site except for at 2pm for a brief check in window -- and worst of all the DOG BITES and the owners couldn't care less. When their dog bit our three year old (bruising and breaking her skin), the dog/hotel owner never once apologized for the unprovoked bite. Once at the hospital we were instructed to ask the hotel/dog owner to confirm with the owner that the dog had had a rabies/tetanus vaccination as the bite had broken her skin. The hotel/dog owner ignored a dozen text messages and five calls about this which is super suspicious that the dog has never been vaccinated or they are outdated which means that if biten to the point it breaks skin and bleeds that you will have to get post exposure tetanus/rabies injections. The hotel/dog owner never even responded or apologized. Classic rude, absentee America owner who couldn't care less and is just profiting off your stay and neglecting the property and it's guests. Take our advice and spend a little extra for a safe play to stay with kinder, present hosts.

Extremely disappointing! Toilets poorly maintained, malfunctioned and leaked. No hot water.

The hotel was surrounded by dense forest. As a result we saw several animals, howler monkeys, coati, and iguanas. We were able to take several, close-up pictures.

The toilet overflowed the first night and flooded our room. We were moved to a cabin and discovered in the middle of the second night the toilet seal leaked. Gross, a feces foot wash! Worse my wife said when she complained about the toilet not flushing, the maid turned the water on. One only turns the water to the toilet off, if there is a problem with the toilet. So they knew it leaked. Worse yet, they sent an email to me later during our vacation, blaming us for the problems at their hotel. I cancelled my credit card because they indicated they might charge my card for any damages.

One of the worst places I've ever stayed in.

Cindy (the staff member who cooked breakfast) was really nice. The breakfast was decent.

Staff show up in the morning to make breakfast, but then leave for the entire day. When I arrived at check-in at 4:00 p.m., nobody was there. In fact, I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE ENTIRE B&B. My room, which was called Sand, had ants everywhere. It was so bad that I asked for the room to be cleaned. Cindy cleaned it super well, but the ants came back. THEY WERE EVERYWHERE. I asked to move to a different room, which they were able to accommodate. But guess what? More ants and even a frog in the toilet. They do not clean the rooms daily at all. After I left the establishment, I asked them to send me an invoice. Instead, they sent me a receipt. The reason why I needed it was because Booking was going to refund me some money but they needed the invoice from Nosara Sunrise B&B. It's been THREE WEEKS SINCE I CAME BACK FROM THIS TRIP AND THEY DIDN'T SEND ME THE INVOICE YET. In fact, the owner of the place messaged me on Booking and said that there's nothing he can do, and if I needed the invoice then I should just take it up with Booking. Absolutely rude for such a simple request. Furthermore, they messed up my reservation details so that it only shows I stayed there for 4 days instead of 7, which makes it even more difficult to get a refund from Booking. At the end of the day, I hated this place and I would never recommend it to anyone. It's perched atop a hill so it's difficult to reach, and it's so far away from Playa Guiones that it's not even worth the savings. I really think that someone just showed up in Nosara, bought some land, built a terrible hotel, and just started collecting money without any consideration of how much work it takes to provide a decent experience...especially for the absorbent and ridiculous rates this place demands. I wish I spent that money on a nicer place closer to the beach.

it was a wonderful stay we could see howler monkeys and many birds and other doors from the balcony. The location was very quiet, the room was large and nicely furnished, we didn't miss anything.

the climb to the B&B was really very steep despite the 4x4. But it was worth it

Relaxing and deeply restorative

This is such a gem of a place sitting high up on the mountainside, right in the rainforest. It's been so sensitively built with as many natural materials as possible and fits really beautifully into its surroundings. The howler monkeys in the canopy above were just the cherry on the cake! Beautiful breakfasts every morning to set us up for the day and a really helpful team of staff. Just loved our visit and will stay here next time!

Was lovely room, lovely breeze as high up☺️

Breakfast was good though being mostly vegan I declined eggs, would have been nice to get more Galla pinto. Only negative was the road up but this isn’t unusual, was a difficult walk 😂

Accidentally completed wrong box above. Liked everything else.

Lovely property and a great stay.

The breakfast was delicious and staff very friendly. The pool and patio were excellent and a great place to sit for a coffee or cocktail.. Pool was very refreshing. The beds were comfortable and fridge worked. The water pressure was not great and the shower was a strong trickle. Not sure if this is because of the dry season. We heard howler monkeys in the early mornings. The setting was wonderful and secluded. The driveway is extremely steep! We were disappointed that there was no coffee/tea station in the rooms and no access to one in the building. It is a bit of a drive into tourist town but there is an excellent coffee shop just down the main road to the N of the BNB.

beautiful hillside location amongst nature with super friendly hosts

really friendly and helpful staff beautiful location to appreciate the surrounding nature

the original room we booked had a broken bed but the owner rectified it immediately by providing us with two rooms whilst they replaced the broken mattress - so this was great ! the road to access the property is small and full of potholes - so you need a 4x4 ideally in this area

Beautiful stay. Friendly staff. Monkeys all in the tree on the property!

Located about half hour walk from beach town. We didn't mind because they offered reservations for free bike rentals which was a major reason why we chose that place, however when we asked for them, they said they were out of service. Bit of a disappointment but everything was excellent otherwise.

Very basic room, no kettle, no coffee maker, no food, no drink except breakfast. Very small pool, only two chairs at the pool.
