Perfect for short stays. Clean and well maintained.

I only stayed for one night buy thoroughly enjoyed it. The price was good in comparison to other similar chains. The room was perfect. Had everything we needed in terms of facilities, fridge, kettle and iron etc. The bests where comfortable, the TV system good and easy to connect to. Free WiFi. I was more surprised about how little use the room seemed to have had. Normally in similar places you see mold in showers, bad grouting or well used furniture, but it was all pretty much brand new looking. Gym was also good and clean. Breakfast Ans staff where all very friendly and accommodating.

Floor one smelt a little bit like cigarettes.

Very good stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The room that we booked was unavailable due to a flooding, but fortunately we got another room which was also fine. The location is perfect, very close to the rail station and city center. Breakfast was good. The reception staff was smiling and helpful. We could leave our baggage with the reception for td afhe time before check-in and after check-out.

Great hotel

Great location, 4 min walk from Piccadilly station and easy to get to shops and attractions. Helpful and friendly staff. Room clean and comfortable.

Bar was a bit noisy but it was a Saturday.

The staff were amazing. From reception to restaurant, everyone were so welcoming and helpful. The room was clean. The gym well equipped.

Breakfast excellent, location superb. Staff pleasant and helpful. I had my young son with me and the staff were very good towards him. Overall all a wonderful experience.

I would expect better from Holiday Inn

Good location and closer to City Center.

I recently stayed here and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The state of the towels provided was disappointing, as they appeared unclean and there was a bandaid attached to it. It was unhygienic. Additionally, the furniture in the room seemed dated and in need of replacement. Chair covers were completely worn out and showed evident lack of maintenance. Moreover, the demeanor of the staff appeared tired and disengaged during the morning breakfast, failing to provide the level of service one would expect from a reputable establishment.

Convenient location for public transport, food service a little disappointing.

The room was well laid out. Reception staff friendly.

The a/c kept going back to 21C after I increased the temperature by a few degrees. The service for dinner was a bit basic for a 4 star hotel. At breakfast the server brought our tea but no cups.

Perfect hotel in city centre, will definitely be back!

Perfect location, so near the train station. Breakfast had everything you could wish for and the coffee and tea coming in pots made a great difference! Bed was super comfy, all in all a perfect hotel in every way

Fab stay, will definitely return.

Great location and very comfortable rooms. Fabulous breakfast selection.

Wasn’t keen on the restaurant for dinner and found it cold and drafty from the front door opening and closing. Need to block off the dining area more from the draft.

good location hotel

Excellent location just near the train station and easy walk to the shops , good breakfast.

towels and bed sheets are not that clean and the smell of the towels are bad , hotel night shift reception refuse to give us a bathrobe or slippers i though this is a a 4 star hotel what a trash guy! , But i got the bathrobe later from the room cleaner guy top guy there!.

Great Place to stay if you are visiting Manchester

I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions - it never lets me down - staff are always welcoming and will bend over backwards to help. Location is great - 5 mins walk from Piccadilly Station and 5 min walk into the centre of town.

The breakfast can be a little hit and miss - and also they clear you table too quickly - i got up to get some toast came back and the table had been cleared !

All fine, recommended, until you get home

Spatious room, fine bed, quiet, near perfect en suite, good breakfast, friendly staff, great location. Will be back.

Initially I stated that there is not much not to like to be honest and my heading even included 'recommended' but I have to renew my review. I did indicate cleanliness was good not excellent, which is due to empty plates lying about in corridors longer than they should. Cleanliness anywhere else excellent for that matter. However, some additional information about the experience afterwards needs to be conveyed: their IHG stay or whatever express medallia emails afterwards are very intrusive, aggressive even to the extent that even when you opted out by unsubscribing emails still come and when you reply to email one supposedly can use, it bounces. And as well: they're spamming my son, who came with me, but who is a minor still. So if a one stay triggers all this hassle afterwards I will no longer recommend as such because I won't be back. I have duly taken note of the entire consortium and will avoid all hotels in the future if I can.

Very pleasant and enjoyable.

It was very clean and comfortable. Air temperature in the room was very comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast choices and service as always was excellent.
